For anyone who is struggling with the psyllium and
Bentonite cleanse...or those who have concerns about using bentonite...I encourage you to consider the Holistic Horizons program developed by Robert Gray. In addition to his products, he has a wonderful little book...The Colon Health Handbook...that gives a lot of valuable information.
Holistic Horizons was the very first
Colon Cleanse that I used and got excellent results with it...although it took several weeks before I started passing mucoid plaque. It does not contain any form of clay...nor does it contain any laxative herbs. It includes a fiber and herb blend (psyllium husk powder, calcium panthotenate, clove and dandelion...the Special bulking Agent) and also a tableted blend of herbs to promote the loosening of mucoid plaque and also assist with cleansing the blood and lymph. Some of the herbs are also very helpful for the liver. Daily skin brushing and modifications to diet are also part of this program.
I have since used plain psyllium and
Bentonite and also gotten excellent results...including passing mucoid plaque much quicker. I have planned on using the Holistic Horizons program again and adding liquid
Bentonite to it to see if it would excelerate the process. A few days ago I started taking the Holistic Horizons fiber blend alone at 1-2 doses a day...no bentonite and none of the herb tablets yet...and I am already passing some gook! I imagine that my prior cleansings and regular
colonics contribute to the rapid results...everyone responds differently and every cleanse is different...so I obviously can't guarantee these results for everyone. But I wanted to let you know that these products are another alternative to the P&B cleanse.
I will keep you posted as this cleanse progresses...I will be uping the fiber and including the herbal tablets and I AM going to add the liquid bentonite to it and see how it effects the cleansing action.
The one problem with the cleanse is the availability of the products...years ago they were quite easy to locate, but it has become more difficult to find them...at least in the Chicago area. If you can't find them in your area, you can order them direct by going to HolisticHorizons.com. Make sure that you order the book, too...or ask for the instuction and schedule pamphlet... the program directions are not included on the labels of the product because they're in a graduated schedule.
BTW...I have no connections to this company, nor profit in any way...I've just found them to be excellent products and wanted to pass the info along.
And another thing...
Since I am so often asked about bowel functioning...make sure that you check out the SHIT LIST #1 & 2 on the Jokes forum. Laughter is such good medicine!!! ; 0
