>>The same thing with my Thyroid. I'm using Black Walnut Hulls powder.
Why BW?
Black walnut hull is rich in iodine.
How does smoking affect the adrenals? I know it stresses them out but how?
Through two mechanisms. First the nicotine is a stimulant, so it forces the adrenals to work over time. Secondly, remember that the adrenals require more vitamin C than any other part of the body. Smoking depletes vitamin C levels, which reduces available vitamin C to the adrenals.
I don't drink caffeine but I do smoke. Is it possible to replenish and restore my fatigued adrenals with herbs if I'm still smoking.
You could smoke the herbs. Seriously , yes it can be done but it will be harder to do.
The same thing with my Thyroid. I'm using Black Walnut Hulls powder. I know that smoking displaces the iodine in my body but is it still possible using herbs to fix my (hypothyroidism) while continue to smoke?
The hypothyroidism is likely resulting from the adrenal dysfunction. So I would focus primarily on building up the adrenals.
ive been meaning to ask you how nicotine affects gastric function hve?
Here is an interesting study on that exact topic.

Smoking also weakens the sphincter valves in the stomach, which can increase the incidence of reflux.
someone is saying if i have a hiatal hernia and that illeocal valve or something is letting food back up no matter how much cleansing i do my adrenals will never get better until i fix that via a chiropracter or something along those lines.
I don't know where they are coming up with that. A hiatal hernia is a tear in the diaphragm and the stomach pushing up through. This has nothing to do with the adrenals other than the stress it can cause. And it can indicate a weakness in the tissues, which is often from a lack of vitamin C. Adrenal stress can lower vitamin C levels to the rest of the body.
And I cannot think of any connection between the ileocecal valve and the adrenals.
Interesting indeed. Thanks.

But where does one find a person with stomach pH of 9.8?

I'd love access to your bullet list of "smokable" herbs.
There are maravilla leaves, but you have to go to the Southwest mountains to find the plant. I have heard real catnip is good. Not the stuff they use in catnip toys, which is generally not real catnip. Wood betony or skullcap are calming. Some herbs like passion flower are often concentrated down then smoked.
Tks, Hv. Do you consider any particular herbs potentially harmful (to the lungs) if smoked?
Anything smoked has potential dangers for the lungs since you will form tars and other particulates that can cause lung damage.
Fair enough/makes sense. Okay, here's what I smoke on occasion - a blend of:
wormwood
mullein
catnip
red clover
camomile
clove
mullein
blue lotus (flower)
Clove is especially hard on the lungs. And wormwood is a neurotoxin, so I would not use this very often either.
