Small amounts of baking powder simply increase the PH of the chlorous acid solution (activated
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement ) and make it less acidic. It actually has no effect on the amount of chlorine dioxide in the solution.
You can add enough to soak up all the liquid in the solution, but the chlorine dioxide gas will still be there.
Jim Humble is wrong in stating that it will neutralize the chlorine dioxide. He may have been referring to buffering the PH of the solution, but that does not neutralize it.
