Anastasia and The Ringing Cedars
Selected excerpts, posted with the wish that some others will feel called to read them and be inspired to then read the series, or even just one book of The Ringing Cedars—as I was, when I first came across Anastasia’s advice about how to sow seeds so that the plants resulting will be able to assist “Man”: to heal himself of disease, disorder and even of incorrect habits, and errors in thinking.
"Everything – but everything – on Earth, every blade of grass, every insect, has been created for Man, and everything has its individual appointed task to perform in the service of Man. The multitude of medicinal plants is a confirmation of this."

FROM BOOK ONE (from the new version that came out in April 2007)
* Much of the following information has already been confirmed by the experiments of the biological
Science expert Mikhail Prokhorov. (pp 76)
Anastasia stated:
“Every seed you plant contains within itself an enormous amount of information about the Universe. Through the help of these data the seed knows the exact time, down to the millisecond, when it is to come alive, grow – what juices it is to take from the Earth, how to make use of the rays of the celestial bodies – the Sun, Moon and stars, what it is to grow into, what fruit to bring forth. These fruits are designed to sustain Man’s life.
More powerfully and effectively than any manufactured drugs of the present or future, these fruits are capable of counteracting and withstanding any disease of the human body. But to this end the seed must know about the human condition. So that during the maturation process it can satiate its fruit with the right correlation of substances to heal a specific individual of his disease, if indeed he has it or is prone to it.”
Anastasia describes a process to ‘imbue’ or ‘load’ information into a seed and communicate more consciously with plants;
The following steps should be taken with a variety of plant species in the garden-plot. It is not necessary to cultivate more than a few of each kind of plant.
“Before planting, put into your mouth one or more little seeds, hold them in your mouth, under the tongue, for at least nine minutes.
“Then place the seed between the palms of your hands and hold it there for about thirty seconds. During this time it is important that you be standing barefoot on the spot of earth where you will later be planting it.
“Open your hands, and carefully raise the seed which you are holding to your mouth. Then blow on it lightly, warming it with your breath, and the wee little seed will know everything that is within you.
“Then you need to hold it with your hands open another thirty seconds, presenting the seed to the celestial bodies. And the seed will determine the moment of its awakening. The planets will all help it! And will give the sprouts the light they need to produce fruit especially for you.
“After that you may plant the seed in the ground. In no case should you water it right off, so as not to wash away the saliva which is now covering it, along with other information about you that the seed will take in. It can be watered three days after planting.
“The planting must be done on days appropriate to each vegetable (people already know this, from the lunar calendar). In the absence of watering, a premature planting is not as harmful as an overdue planting.
“It is not a good idea to pull up all the weeds growing in the vicinity of the sprouts. At least one of each kind should be left in place. The weeds can be cut back…”
According to Anastasia, the seed is able to take in information about the person who plants it, and then as it grows its fruit it receives from the universe the optimum blend of energies needed for a given Man.
The weeds serve another function and should not be rid of completely. Some weeds protect the plant from disease and others give the plant supplemental information. During the time the plants are growing it is crucial to communicate – and meditate with the plant at least once, but preferably more. It is also desirable to meditate and touch the plants during a full moon.
Anastasia says that plants cultivated from seeds germinated and planted in this manner and eaten by the person who has grown them is capable of curing him of “any diseases of the flesh whatsoever but also of significantly retarding the aging process, rescuing him from harmful habits, tremendously increasing his mental abilities and giving him a sense of inner peace.”
The fruits must be eaten no later than three days after harvesting to be most effective.
Word-sound-power can help us to manifest our destiny more quickly. By understanding the concept that contained within every spoken word are layers and layers of meaning, we can begin to completely put out clear and pure intentions beginning with our words. If our thoughts are pure, our intentions are pure and our words are also pure then we can be in a better position and space to heal the planet and ourselves.
“These combinations (of letters and words) are very important. They can do wonders, just like prayer. After all, many of you already know that prayers are specific combinations and specific patterns of letters. These combinations and patterns are strung together, with God’s help, by people who have had an illuminating experience.” (pp 174)
The “dark forces” act through women and exploit their beauty. A woman’s beauty is supposed to inspire in Man the spirit of the poet, the artist, and the creator. But to do that, women themselves must be pure. If there is not sufficient purity, they start trying to attract men by fleshy charms. The men are deceived and the women must suffer their whole lives on account of this deception.
(pp 63)
“These forces of darkness have always tried to deprive Man of the opportunity of drawing upon the grace emanating from these combinations (of words in contained in prayers). To this end they have even changed the language, introduced new words and removed old ones, and distorted the meaning of words.”
She tells Vladimir that there used to be forty-seven letters in the Russian alphabet but now there are 33 and that the dark forces distorted the original language.
(pp 174)
“Back then they still knew that everything growing in the ground carries in itself a psychic energy. To be healthy, one must feed one’s self with lovingly grown produce. This was mentioned in several ancient books in the Alexandria Library, which was destroyed.” (pp 126)
It could be that the “information exchange between an individual person and a plant Anastasia talks about is the missing link to understanding human nutrition.”
(Sharashkin, op.-cited pp 235)
“God is the interplanetary Mind, or intelligence. He is not to be found in a single mass. Half of Him is in the non-material realm of the Universe. This is the sum total of all energies. The other half of Him is dispersed across the Earth, in every individual, in every Man.” (pp 50)
“If the Bible told everything in detail, it would be impossible to read through it in a single human lifetime.
One must understand the Bible – there is so much information behind each verse.
When asked by Vladimir if Anastasia asks God for anything she replies “what more can I ask, when so much has been given me? It is my task to thank Him and help Him.” (pp 138)
Anastasia describes the different religions as being like a conversation about the parents we have never met, but only in different terms.
She says that no matter how we talk about God we are happy to hear it. We are supposed to reflect on everything we learn and judge for ourselves what is true. She says that she does not need any intermediaries between her and God.
(pp 211)
The Bible tells us “by their fruits ye shall know them” (Matth. 7:20) (pp 179)
This seems to be a central theme in all the books.
The technocratic world makes it very difficult for parents to do the right thing. When a baby is born and first looks around, what does he see? He sees an artificial environment in his crib, with its bars, walls and pieces of fabric. These are all attributes of the artificial world that has been created by a technocratic society. (pp 93)
Then the parents offer him toys and things that rattle and squeak. Why? He will try and try to make sense of these things and their noise. He will try to understand them through his God-like mind but won’t. His parents will then wrap him up in restrictive blankets and diapers of which he tries to fee himself. The only thing he can do at this moment is to cry and cry. He cries for help from parents who don’t know how to help him. From that moment on this angel and king becomes a slave to his parents.
For the next few years this child is given object after object, toy after toy in hopes of making him happy. He is rewarded with these things. He comes to know these things as being the dominant objects in the world where he exists. Even though he is an angel and a king, in his infancy he is treated as imperfect and is pandered to by his parents and everyone around him.
Even in schools and other respected institutions that are considered ‘educational’ he is always reminded and exposed to the makings of an artificial world.
According to Anastasia, not until the age of nine does he hear a passing mention of the existence of the world of nature. Most people never become aware of the truth, even on their deathbeds. The meaning of life escapes them.
“The meaning of life is found in truth, joy and love.”
(pp 94)
Anastasia refers to everyone as ‘Man’ with a capital ‘M’. Every human, man or woman, she calls ‘Man’. This is a translation from the Russian word ‘chelovek’, which means literally ‘human being’.
In the English world the word ‘Man’ has always been associated with half of our population. The word ‘human being’ has its roots in words like humble, humility, etc. whereas the Russian word for human being has its roots in words indicating thinking and a more divine definition of humans.
In Russian the word chelovek can mean either a man or a women. Some might say it is a much more pure translation of what we are. In any case I personally have felt empowered by using this word and by thinking of all humans as ‘Man’.
When Man has radiant feelings they can help heal himself and his body. She says it is radiant feelings that “are the most powerful and effective remedy against any kind of bodily ailment”. The stronger and clearer the radiant feeling, the stronger healing effect it will have on others. (pp 176)
