I have been going over hundreds of pages in the iodine supplement forum - so I may be bringing up subjects that are years old.
I am intrigued by the thought of using magnets on iodine to create an electrostatic (is that the proper term) field. I don't have strength to be taking equipment apart, so was looking on ebay for magnets & learned way more than I ever thought there was to know about magnets.
Magnets can be charged a couple of ways either through their thickness or through their length. Some either stack up or side by side. Placing magnets on the bottle (charged thru their thickness) would create a magnetic field into the bottle. But placing magnets on the bottle (charged thru their length) shouldn't create a magnetic field into the bottle, but could possibly create a stirring action (but no real benefit?). I would think for the iodine you'd want a magnetic field going into the solution (to magnetize the particles I'm assuming?)
You said you made home made Alex Chiu rings with refrigerator magnets & other magnets, which have magnetic fields through there thickness. *IF* those are the fields used, I can't see them having a huge benefit (from the cursory overview I got of his theory - the pinky being the littlest cog in the gear system). BUT *IF* those fields are the side by side, with the opposite fields on either side of the pinky, it would almost be like a continuous pushing action of the blood flow - like 2 extra mini hearts (2x blood flow pushing into pinky & 2x blood flow pushing out of pinky) and that would make sense to my feeble brain (and coincide more with his theory) BUT you definitely didn't use that type of force in your hand (forgive the pun) made versions. I would think that type of magnetic field would capture blood (is iron in red blood cells attracted to the magnets??) & dam it up rather that push it along.
So I ordered 60 magnets claiming to have 6# pulling strength (for $12) off ebay. I didn't want to invest a lot & figured these would be useful anyways & had thought they could also be used for my own home made Alex Chiu rings but now I've rethought doing that with this batch (since they pushed downwards vs sideways)
I'm pondering ordering filings, placing them in a small glass bottle with water to actually see the magnetic field effect. They also had (motor) magnets which could encircle a very thin bottle/vial with 8 sections with N/S/N/S/N/S/N/S which I thought might keep the solution stirred up so it doesn't settle on the bottom. (link below)
Can you post a pic of your iodine with magnets? Is it just 2 or 4 - wouldn't 4 be better than just 2, is there one on the bottom? Have you considered selling magnet set ups?

its a stone cold fact that magnets made the lugols easier to take. i pushed the envelope at 300mg per day with straight lugols in water. once i put the magnets on the bottle - on either side at the bottom and pulling toward each other - then i got a noticeable difference and could double that dose to 600mg of lugols. anything more and it was too much. so the magnets had a desirable effect on the iodine. magnascent is 100 times this effect and makes the iodine really effective and friendly. this is done in such a way(based on an edgar cayce reading) that the change is permanent and highly beneficial. he called it detoxified iodine.
MAGNET PRIMER
forget north and south. depending on how the terms are used, they can be exactly the opposite. this is important with biomagnetics. negative pole is healing and normalizing in its effects. this may be why humans have gravitated to the northern hemisphere more than the southern. geomagnetic north is the negative pole.
take a magnet that is double pole. use a compass and be careful not to change the needle polarity because it is weak and can actually be flipped with a strong magnet. use a weaker magnet that has no other use. youre going to make a magnet pole checker. find the side that the north needle points to. that is negative, the other side positive. i always mark my magnets with red on the positive side in keeping with tradition. you only need to mark one and then you can use that to check all the others without risking the compass flipping phenom.
ALEX CHIU LIVE FOREVER RINGS
alex tells people how to make the rings on his website. the confusing thing(on purpose to get people to buy?) is his use of north and south. forget it.
when you make the rings, the magnets go on top of the pinky and on the bottom. they attract through the finger itself. i like to use magnets that are strong enough to stay in position while holding still without anything else holding them in place. the rings can be mrked using different color electrical tape. on the right hand, the positive pole is on top. laying your hand on the table palm down a negative pole should stick to the magnet on top of the finger. positive up on the right hand.
on the left hand, negative is up. you know you have it right when you can hold your hands together as in traditional prayer and the magnets attract and hold your hands together. reversing the polarity on either of both hands will cause you to feel tired and irritable.
these rings are a combination of chinese meridians and biomagnetism. the little finger is at the end of the triple heat meridian. by applying magnets at this point and in this configuration its like a gaus gun for the bloodstream. the iron in the blood is boosted along. there may be other energies involved, but this is the most reasonable mechanical explanation i have been able to determine. and we all know what increased circulation means - increased healing and cellular activity. this is the thing that leads alex to believe you could live forever if you wear them.
as crazy as he sounds i believe he was truly inspired to create these. its the kind of madness that gives birth to genius, or vice versa, its hard to tell which.
EMPIRICAL DATA
wearing these rings will definitely produce two measurable effects and do so fairly quickly. the first is body temp. i dont know about those who have a normal temperature of 98.6(assuming that really is normal given the effects of the industrial age on human biology), but my low temperature of approximately 97 was raised by almost a full degree and stayed there as long as i wore the rings. this effect went away soon after i took them off.
the second effect was blood pressure. at that time my blood pressure was in the high pre-hypertension range. wearing the rings brought the blood pressure down to normal range.
i played with both of these to make sure i wasnt imagining things. i felt the temperature rise due to my sensitivity to it and then starting monitoring it specifically. i noticed the blood pressure thing by accident as i was getting concerned about it getting too high. i went back and forth and watched the numbers go up and down until i was satisfied that it was the rings doing it.

Trapper, tx for the detailed text on magnets. I've tried to navigate Alex Chiu's web sites and they are if nothing else, confusing. Built on very old html.
So your text certainly helps.
We've used magnets for years. Had posted a few months or so ago that our first experience with magnets happened when my sweetie gouged her forearm with a mat knife while carving a pumpkin. To the bone. I was out of town. By the time I got back, she had stitches inside the wound, and outside to close it. I placed a low powered magnet on it immediately. Her entire arm had turned black and blue by this time. The next morning we redressed the insult. The skin was perfectly pink where the magnet had been. Unbelievable. She healed extremely fast. With the magnet. This a couple of years after her liver transplant. It was amazing.
Each subsequent surgery, and there have been shoulders, knee, hip replacements since, magnets have expedited healing. Very fast.
We have not however done the application you talked about above. Will re-explore this. And I should open up more ?'s about magnets with you as I would love to hear about your uses and results.

get two strong donut magnets. you can use speaker magnets for this but i prefer the magnets in a microwave. best use ever for the damn thing - kill it and take its magnets. never pass that killer along in a garage sale or even free. have a conscience.
dont shock yourself with the capacitor in side and dont pinch a blister when the two magnets meet in your hands. they are very powerful.
place the magnets with different poles up. remember, opposites attract. place identical glasses of water on top of each magnet. tap water works best for this because of the impurities in it. wait 10-20 minutes. taste.
the one with the negative pole up will negatively magnetize the water. it will be smoother than the original and less taste to it. the positively magnetized water will be distinctly sharper in taste, almost acrid, and very stimulating to the tongue.
put a dot of red nail polish on the positive sides for future reference. you can test with a compass just to make sure, but you will be sure. dont ruin your compass(or any number of other things in the house!) with these very powerful magnets.

I have not done this before. Will try right now. We have six 4x6x1 *powerful*, and mean the slam together blister causing kinds of magnets that you talk about. I've done that a couple of times.
We use these for you name it. Have one in kitchen were SSKI and Lugols 1oz bottles reside.
But always more to learn. One of the worst experiments was placing one with the 'wrong' pole facing the back of my neck. This was when I first received them. The impact on the thyroid was awful. I was looking to relax tensed up muscles in my neck, but had the unintended but now too obvious influence on the thyroid. Won't do that again. They are amazing tho how fast they will dispatch even a simple leg cramp for instance.
Magnets are very cool.

This is a reply to # 1,497,001We have softer water where I live, getting the supply literally from the side of Pikes Peak runoff, so the mineral content is lesser. Not like lower elevations where this experiment would have been more pronounced.

i put magnets on the supply coming into the house. this prevents any build up or scale. in weeks from applying the magnets, old pipes that have lost half of their internal diameter will be clear and full flow restored. maybe thats part of what happens in the body, too.

I have lots of questions, lol.
You say forget North - South - negative - positive - use a compass test - not buying a compass, that's why I bought the cheap set of magnets because they were premarked with the North side.
In my mind the side that sticks to the refrigerator would be considered the "N" side - only point the "N" side to the skin or together with a spacing to create a magnetic field. Wouldn't that be a simpler test, rather that worry about the compass switching polarity??
The magnetic field I envision you have described in previous posts (which I'd love to see a pic of set up) are 2 heavy duty magnets on either side of a bottle.
I'm a "if a lil is good, a whole lot is better" kind of gal & I am envisioning 4 square magnets in the N, S, E, W positions all with their "N" faces pointing inward
I have found magnets with a 4" x 1" N face (x 1.75" deep) 100# pulling power. Four of these would create a space 4" Tall with 1" sides minimum - just about perfect to slide in a 2 oz bottle. They would need to be braced & I assume separated further so they don't smash together, but I am assuming that the space created should have an incredible magnetic field.
Is a 4 sided magnetic field overkill, am I way off base?
p.s. - Is it kismet that the randomly created avatar that I was assigned echoes the magnetic field I envision?? Is it kismet that Cayce's recommendation of Atomidine (that I was under the impression was no longer avail & I searched Cayce's material looking for a cure 10 years ago) will be the key to my health problems?? This is a reply to # 1,497,193you lost me in the first two paragraphs. i said to forget the terms north and south. you have magnets marked north(and south). is that north meaning geomagnetic north? that would be negative. is it north meaning that it is the north pointing pole? that would be positive. north can mean both and i have seen magnets marked both ways. that is why i said to go by the terms negative and positive. they are not interchangeable in any way. us the plus or minus sign. if you find a magnet marked north and it has a minus sign, then it is negative, or should be. plus for positive.
i never use the terms north or south in talking about magnets except to explain this dilemma or talk about the compass.
positive magnetism speeds things up, increases activity and is stimulating, both to normal processes and to pathogenic ones. it can actually intensify an infection by stimulating the bacteria to metabolize faster.
negative magnetism is calming, correcting, healing, normalizing, etc. it will diminish disease states and promote healing.
both can be used on the body to positive effects. there is one main rule - negative can be used on the body all by itself but positive must be used with negative somewhere else on the body.- Re: more quesions re: magnetic fiel... willwillbee

The magnets I bought included a very small divot, marking the North-Seeking Pole. Isn't the North-Seeking Pole, Negative & the side that sticks to the refrigerator all the same spot?

north seeking is positive. think about it. the needle ont he compass that points to north(north seeking) has to be positive in order to be attracted to the north pole, which is negative.
you really need to figure out which side is positive and which side is negative. north and south are too confusing. you must know which is which to properly use magnets for health benefits.
read my posts here again. i find both poles stick to my refrigerator just fine.
it occurs to me that this is another case of intentional confusion generated by the powers that be to keep people from using magnets to their benefit. same with silver and turning blue. same with skull and crossbones on iodine. same with selenium killing horses. lies keep people enslaved. ignorance allows the lies to have that effect.

This is a reply to # 1,497,254OMG - thank you for clearing up the north/positive confusion. I had no clue, I'm glad I kept asking. I would have been putting them on wrong. I am totally magnet illiterate. I assumed one side attracted & one side repelled.
To create a magnetic field, do you put magnets N to N or N to S? I assumed N to N - so these other magnets probably wouldn't even work? They are to pick up 100# of material & have a metal loop on them to attach a rope.- Re: more quesions re: magnetic fiel... trapper/kcmo

are you thoroughly confused? you should be. this is a perfect example of north and south being practically meaningless. if a teacher used this stuff with me i wouldnt be able to find my ass with both hands, two helpers, a guide book and a coach.
the lines of pull always go from positive to negative. now find which way the lines go and place the plus sign and minus sign where they belong. viola! you can get it then. the north pole of the earth is negative. they have the magnet representing the earth marked S at the north. this is because the S pole in this case means south pointing. since the south pole is positive, only a negative pole will be attracted to it. thus, the S on the magnet in this case is the negative pole, just like geomagnetic north.
no wonder kids are dumber than a box of rocks these days with teaching tools like that. positive and negative never change, so that is what i use exclusively.
btw, figure 2 at the first link shows the magnetic field between the magnets. at least they got that part right if not the polarity.
