Well said Zoe, I saw the original thread as a call from Wombat to the Webmaster to deal with a very nasty act from ML. This was done in defense of a friend, and someone who was struggling with health issues. I did not see this as a personal conflict with ML. The person responsible for the nasty behaviour (ML) has then been allowed to gloat (as you say Zoe) about this, and by doing so compounds the injury to the person he damaged.

It is my understanding that this sentence:

"Like they say; Some have to Die before they Stop making these foolish choices!"

was what triggered Wombat's message, and the whole thread.


It is my understanding that Wombat though that the meaning of that sentence is something like:

"That person who is now in hospital will have to die before they Stop overdosing on Iodine!"

In which case we all would find it to be in a very bad taste. We are not suppose to joke about hospitals and deaths. It is too serious.

I personally disagree on the meaning of the sentence in question. (Just to be fair, I also have to add: I am not an expert on English language. I learned English in my late twenties, and I still have a major problem understanding the meaning of some sentences!)





My personal understanding of the meaning behind MLs message is:

"I warned you long time ago, and I repeat the warning here: some people will have to Die before followers of the VWT Iodine forum Stop overdosing on Iodine!"


MLs message was just a general warning, a general statement, a repetition, not about the particular person who is right now in hospital, but about anyone out there who is experimenting with mega doses of Iodine.

Lets face it, this warning is nothing new. ML has been repeating it in one way or another before the Iodine forum was created (remember the time of Alkaline Support Forum?). In other words, this message is really nothing new from ML. It is his opinion, and it has not changed.


As this was nothing new from ML, and as I disagree with Wombat's understanding of the MLs words, and as that thread have really grown into a series of ugly personal attacks and conflicts, with more bad then good in it ... I think that "Personal Conflicts" forum is a perfect place for that thread. Who ever wants to read it, it is still there.

One more thing. ML posted his message inside his own, private forum! He did not come into the Iodine forum to post the message.



Why do Wombat at all reads his forum, if she dislike him and hates his words?
