Hello IR,
Sorry for answering so late. I am not looking at Curezone like before because of my new job that absorbs me so much.
So I want to take some time for you today, which is Sunday and I am resting a little...
I think that this kind clay can be used for internal use, I have drank
Green Clay which is not of the same brand, but with similar content in Silicon and Aluminium : a coffee-spoon in a glass of water or 1 or 2 tablespoons in 1 1/2 litre of water for colonics. I think that for internal use it would always be advisable to use in very very small doses, like I do, because it can produce constipation, and so be careful if you have this problem, and adapt the dosage which is convenient for you in small steps…
Here you are some passages taken from an Italian book on Clay, which is inspired (as almost all, I guess) on Raymond Dextreit's studies and publications :
First of all, the distinction between therapeutic clays and clays used for other purposes (such as buildings or philtres) should be forgotten, because all clays have healing properties, they are just different for composition and places in which they are found. So, on condition that they are pure, they have therapeutic properties, independently from their colour. Yet, certain clays are more indicated for certain ailments, and we can distinguish them as follows:
- all clays have anti-inflammatory properties, but for GI inflammatory problems (stomach acidity, IBS,ulcers) white clay shows better effectiveness
- all clays have absorbent properties, but to heal eczema, acne, arthrosis,
Green Clay absorbs much more toxins
- all clays are active against degenerative diseases ( arthrosis, ostheoporosis), except for white clays
- all clays have good absorbant power, but for suppurations, clay green is more effective.
Caolinite (white clay) is named after Chinese region Kao-Ling, where it was discovered. It contains about 48% Silicon (Silicium) and 38% Aluminium. It regulates Ph, is used for internal use for protection of the GI system. It has an excellent absorbent power (swellings, fermentations, intoxications) and anti-bacterial action. It is the only clay to be used by people suffering from constipation. It is used by ceramic industry (Limoges, Chinese).
Montmorillonite (green clay) contains more that 50% Silicon and 10% Aluminium, and it has an enourmous absorbent power, which is very useful for disintoxication in internal and external use. It often comes from hot regions and is dried in the sun, from which it absorbs a special energy.
Attapulgite is named after the town Attapulgus, Russia. It is white clay with great absorbant power, and is especially used in oil industries, in water purifiers and as "toilettes clay" for pets.
Illite is found in every part of the world and is a white clay, used especially by ceramic industry. It is mostly used for external use for skin cleansing and also for sprains, swellings. It is rarely sold pure, but generally mixed with other kinds of clay.
Bentonite is named after Fort Benton, Montana, Usa. It is mostly used by industry (for the clarification of edible oils, wines, beer and vinegar, in oil industry and explosives). As for its healing properties it is used by cosmetics industry in soaps and creams.
Luvos or German clay, used especially in Germany, where it was discovered by A. Just. It is grey because of its high content in Silicon (even 60%) and Aluminium (20%).
ciao Claudia
