Hi wuz,
Your question: Hi all,
Well, it felt soooo good to soak in my tub after over 6 years of not being able to. I just hated to ask someone to "come drag me out of the tub" but I finally gave in and realized I MUST start to soak!
OK, I used 1-1/2 cups Epsom Salt and 1-1/2 cups H202.
Water not extremely hot but did cause a good sweat to start after 10 minutes or so. Soaked for 20 minutes. Tried to keep shoulders/neck area underwater as much as possible due to tight muscles there. It felt great! Did "very cool" shower afterwards.
Got out (with help, rotfl). Felt good, yawned a lot, felt good and sleepy which is rare for me! (Bath time was approx 7:00-7:20pm).
Now......the crazy thing is: my feet just don't like a soak! They almost always feel stiff, feel swollen even tho not swollen, at least not much, feel like all foot bones are joined together and won't bend (which is how they usually feel only so much more pronounced after soak). Maybe not acid? Maybe I just need to be patient? Today feet are not any worse then before soak.
BTW, I did not sleep any better then usual! I cannot get arms comfortable enough to sleep, then up to urinate every couple of hours.........urg!
so, please any advice about how my feet react to soak would be much appreciated.
oh, also, skin on my feet extremely dry, itchy. never before like this. skin between toes wants to peel off, not to the point of being raw underneath, just skin but wow itchy and kinda ugly with dryness. ACV doesn't seem to be too good on my dry skin either.
Sorry to be such a problem child, burden, etc.....
wuz
Answer: 1st you must ask your self Why your feet hurt more than the upper part of your legs?
Consider that the feet are a Greater distance from your Heart, thus may not be getting the needed Oxygen from the blood, thus the reason Why!
Because without Oxygen your Lymphatic fluids in these areas of the body become too Acidic!
You need to Soak as often as you are able and this should give Great Benefits as time passes!
For your itchy feet or other itchy areas learn to apply coconut oil to these areas after soaking!
Cause and Effect!
Smile Tis your choice.
