You might want to consider what some believe is a particular regimin of ut by not eating grains, greens or dairy
That's a new one on me. I've seen UT sites recommend backing off meat and animal proteins if taking in a lot of UT, due to possible pH balancing issues, but never grains, greens [which are alkalizing] or dairy [which can be either acid or alkaline forming].
What is the "unwanted compound" or is this just a speculation by the herbalist?
I can't see myself eating only these foods. I need proteins to help balance my pH. I cannot drink too much UT at this time due to dysbiosis left over from years of Mercury toxicity. After the Hg is gone I might be able to take more UT. I take 1/2 cup on arising, which is more than I used to be able to take, so I seem to be gaining.
advises that diet be restricted to only fruits and herbs but no greens no grains and no dairy.
I'm a blood type O+ non secretor and eating this way would not seem to be a good idea for me. Are you from India? I'm in the USA. I eat animal proteins, vegetables, fruit, grains, legumes, and a few nuts and seeds - mostly all organic.. UT can and has been done by people that eat like this. MC's book say s that anyone that does INTENSE UT - [large amounts] should back off meat, not avoid meat.
People in other parts of the world have different diets and possibly different ways to eat when they do UT, but I don't think it's the ONLY way UT can be done, and not according to MC's book.
