Jemila
My sister-in-law has been diagnosed with acute pancreatitis caused by gallstones, after numerous painful attacks which began during her recent pregnancy.
One attack required hospitalisation, a starvation diet for a few days and high fluid intake, while several have required pethidine injections for the pain. The current recommendation is a very low fat diet followed by gall bladder removal in a month.
Having read through parts of your forum these
Liver Flushes seem highly recommended, but how does the ingestion of olive oil fit with the advice to avoid fats at all costs? I know my sister-in-law would feel very wary of this. She's frightened to eat just about anything at the moment for fear of another attack.
Also, would you say these flushes eliminate the need for surgery?
Thanks,
Jemila.
