Hey EME,
I get my Boron right outta the box of Borax Mule Team20 Laundry detergent.
You will want to search thru post's here on curezone by Ginagirl.

Excess boron can cause problems too. Conditions like ADHD, dyslexia, autism, asthma, allergies, cystic fibrosis, liver and oseophageal cancer can be triggered or made worse with excess boron. Boron increases oestrogen and calcium levels and lowers B6, zinc, blood glucose. Signs of toxicity are nausea, vomiting, lethagy, dermatitis, diarhoea. The antidote is extra B2. Cautions are part of a book "Boron, Phenols and Health" 1995 by Mary Duncan, a West Australian nurse.
Finding your post was accidental, but informative. While reading thru the above paragraph, I noticed I have exhibited a couple of these signs she refers to. For me it was the vomiting, within 8 minutes of a 1 tsp dose in about 12
oz H2O, I felt fine in about 10 minutes. And the other is the dermatitus.
I'll remember this thanks to you and go back to using only 1\4 - 1\2 tsp in a
quart of H2O. Our body's are unique and you will find what works for you.
I want to convey that I have not had any negative reactions other than the vomitting. Combined with Iodine, this has been the single biggest thing to help my condition.
If you decide to add the
Iodine as well, research the "companion nutrients for Iodine": Selenium, EFA's (Flax oil, UDO's and such) and there's more. You will prolly find alot of that info here on CZ as well.
Good Luck. And you only asked about Borax.
