From personal experience colon hydrotherapy was not good. I think it was a waste of money, didn't really do much. I prefer the salt water flush, it gives the colon a full flush. After salt water flush you feel clean and more energy. Colon hydrotherapy was overpriced and you need to do it so many times to get any sort of benefit. I am a colon hydrotherapist and am often asked to provide recommendations for a therapist, so I like to know who I shouldn't recommend.
I'm sorry you didn't have a more satisfying experience when you had your colonics. The majority of us who have made this our career choice truly want to help others be healthy naturally.

They both cleanse the entire length of the colon so you could say they do the same thing. I personally avoid both and let the body do the work by adding pulp to my juices.
It could be called "not a fast" because of the solid intake but I call it "not a pain" because I don't have to worry about being stuck to a toilet after the salt water flush or colonic.☺ I do think you need to do one of the two if you just started fasting though. You feel so much better after being flushed out. I keep salt around during fasts just in case I get a big detox wave that needs flushed out. Thats the nice thing about the salt water flush. Its always available and CHEAP.

This is a reply to # 1,451,199I know but I hate the salt water flush, it feels like torture. I did the Master-Cleanse and i could have gone to 30-40 days but the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) killed me. Now even thinking of it gives me horrible flash backs. I was also thinking of adding psyllium seeds to my diet to help with the fiber. It will give me more fiber than the pulp and I think it works pretty good as well.

Be careful with the psyllium seeds. Wean it into your diet as it can constipate come people. so just be aware if you get slow on moving out your food to cut back a bit on the fiber and drink more water.
Here is a food option I like if you want to try it:
A really good high fiber breakfast shake :
oatmeal pack (10g) 160 cals
1c.raspberry (5g)70 cals
1 7" banana (3g)105 cals
1/2c. real active culture Liver-Flush yogurt (0g) 70 cals
2 tbs flaxseed (4g). 128cals
Its about 22grams of fiber by breakfast.(daily req. 21 - 25g for females)The flaxseed also has EFA that are good for your body. I use the Quaker Oats high fiber instant stuff for now. It blends well but I bet there is something healthier/better. The cinnamon swirl is good with this. If you get loose stools cut back on the flaxseed dose. You may even want to start out at 1tbs. The cals are just over 500 but you can really make this one count for breakfast and your mid morning snack or leave the remainder in the fridge for later. It really fills you up!
The Master Cleanse suggests using lemon pulp. I do think that lemon and orange seem to clear it more.
When you say diet..do you mean for after your fast?

This is a reply to # 1,451,223That breakfast sounds so good! I'm going to try it tomorrow. I tried the psyllium seeds, I think it is supposed to take a few days to work. So that with your breakfast and Lemon, I hope I will be regular by the weekend!
