The reason why
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) is often unsuccessful for some is either:
a) Not enough salt (Most likely)
b) Not enough water
c) Water was not warm
Some need more than a 2 tsp per
quart. Since the point of the
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) is to have the salt water flush your colon, but not absorb any of the salts. If you're using enough
Sea Salt , the salt does not get absorbed. However, if you are not using enough salt, you will absorb it instead, and it actually is more harmful because it overwhelms your kidneys and it will make you bloated and possibly ill.
So I suggest you try to up the dosage to 3 or more tsp per
quart. I use 3 tsps. and it is a good amount for me.
Some helpful reminders:
-Do not use distilled water, use filted water
-Water should be lukewarm, not hot or cold
-It's actually safer to use MORE salt because it will pass straight through without any absorption.
