With the liver you don't need anything fancy. You will need
Epsom Salt (nasty, but effective), grapefruit, lemon, or apple juice and olive oil. You can get lots of information on the
Liver Flush Forum , but basically, stop eating at 2 pm the day you flush, drink one tablespoon of
Epsom Salt dissolved in four
ounces of apple juice at 6 pm, repeat the drink at 8pm. At 10 o'clock drink four to six
ounces of olive oil mixed with an equal amount of grapefruit, lemon or apple juice. Go right to bed and lie on your right side for at least thirty minuts. The next morning drink two more
Epsom Salt drinks at six and eight am. Please read more on the liver forum, but this is the basic recipe. In fact, I just did a
Liver Flush last night with incredible results.
You will not always need laxatives when fasting. You might want to do a salt water flush or Epsom salt flush on the third day of your fast to empty the colon, but other than that laxatives are more a matter of choice than necessity. Some people do enemas once or twice a week if they feel the need or have a major cleansing crisis.
You can juice fast on any high quality pure juice. Most stores have really good quality juices now. Fresh juiced is best, but not necessary. However, did you know you will get better results if you eat whole fruits rather than their juice? With the whole juice you get the fiber that makes you feel full and satisfied. Veggie juice is fine, but fruit juice can spike your blood
Sugar and make you crave sugar, stay hungry and get very tired when your blood
Sugar crashes. Trust me, I learned this through experience. Since the fiber in fruits will help you "go" you will feel better. Try fruit during the day when you are active and then drink veggie juice in the evening.
