I too have extreme hair loss, but it is also occuring with a very sore & burning scalp. I have learned that estrogen dominance can cause hair loss, as well as low iron, mine just came in at 11, should be around 25. Also, thyroid imbalances come with hormonal imbalance-dominant estrogen, all these can factor into you hair loss, this is just my experience and what my new wonderful doctor has told me. I also have burning feet, sore to stand, also from estrogen dominance, and low iron. All these imbalanced hormones can affect your autoimmune systems as well. I now have raeynouds (spelling?) syndrom-cold/white/numb/burning feet/ hands. Sjogrens syndrom which can be corilated from estrogen dominance. It is no wonder doctors cannot treat us, they need to realize that the symptoms can go across the board, not make sence and end up not helping their patients, who can end up a lot worse then they should be, like me!!! I am only sharing my story, not advising anyone, it just helps to hear others and that it may possibly lead to better knowledge and understanding,
God bless & keep fighting,
Sheila
