Life.....................

Once you pick a fruit, it dies....the only thing remaining alive is the bacteria that is eating that fruit and the seeds within the fruit.

So how can such devices be of any value???? Are they measuring the life of the BACTERIA????????? They surely don't want the reader to think that.....Are they measuring the life inside th seed???

If we set all the gadets aside, I test my food like this:

IF IT LOOKS GOOD, TASTE GOOD AND IS NATURAL....THAT IS GOOD ENOUGH.

THINK ABOUT WHAT YOUR ASKING FOR? A DEVICE TO MEASURE YOUR FOOD SOURCE.....DON'T YOU THINK YOU WILL BE FORCED TO BUY BETTER FOODS TO GET A GOOD READING???? SO JUST BUY THE BETTER FOODS IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I think they may be able to help those of us who cannot tell the good from the bad at this point..

Also.. it's a relative matter... if ALL of the produce at the store/market is marginal.. you will do well to pick the best of it....

A refractometer is supposed to help teach you to pick the better stuff....

I plan to buy one.. overy shortly...
