There is nothing really that you can do to increase the rate of weight loss. Resting is advised on a fast, but walking and sunshine as well for vitamin D. I would imagine (just my idea) that you don't have many nutrients in you so your body is making the most of what's there by reducing activity / conserving energy. Either that or it's something to do with water in your body. Maybe someone else can advise on that.
Just make sure that when you break your fast you do it properly, I hope you have a plan. If you eat junk again your body will want loads of food to get those nutrients, and as the food is low in nutrients you will have to eat lots. Then you will put on more because your metabolism is slow.
This is a quote from Fasting and Eating for Health, I came across this last night:
"If a person is unable or unwilling to make permanent changes in the diet and to follow a healthy eating plan before and after the fast, there really is no point in fasting. If people are concerned with losing weight, they must make permanent life-style and diet changes that they are willing to live with for the rest of their lives."
So start planning now on a good refeeding plan, then when your metabolism is up eat a high nutrient plant based diet for a while, then do another fast.
Another good tip is to eat so well you are actually losing weight prior to fasting. This is what I am doing now, I have lost 100
pounds in total, and have, I don't know, maybe 20 or 30 more to go.
Good luck
