"Correct me if I'm wrong but I seem to remember you posting about some pretty severe reactions and problems, you suspected allergy to cayenne and had some neck problem, etc. Uny told you castor oil is essential and gave you a lot of other recommendations. What have you done since then?"
I've been in the midst of a parasite cleanse, as you know, and I've begun applying hot/cold hydrotherapy to my neck. I haven't been able to do it since the hives appeared for obvious reasons. I'm waiting for the castor oil to arrive. I was preparing for a liver flush in a few days. Etc.
"Its true if you are doing a parasite cleanse you need to be moving your bowels, and this is one of the most important things for all of us all the time."
You're absolutely right. I'm going to be ordering some IF#1 soon, so that I'll always have some off-hand, especially in events like this.
"I would be scared to death with those kind of numbers you say you had; you sound almost nonchalant about it in this post."
Not only were my numbers high, my heart was skipping beats. Trust me, it was scary, which explains my visit to the ER.
The reason I seem casual about it is because before I found natural health last year, I was going doctor to doctor and was in the ER many times, only to be basically ridiculed, condescended, and accused of only having anxiety/being a hypochondriac all the time which, frankly, was BS. Even if I was solely experiencing anxiety, which was one thing among many, that too is the mark of dis-ease. I got tired of that and have eliminated anxiety from my behavior as much as possible because I wasn't ever taken seriously while demonstrating that emotion.
Not only that, but I've developed a pretty strong faith in natural medicine, and one of it's tenets seems to be "You're going to be OK. Your body can recover from anything". I believe it.
"Seems like you need to get serious about healing."
I'm doing what I can with what I have and what I can get.
"I looked at Schulze's list of ailments and he says to take Echinacea for hives, along with nerve tincture. You can see what I mean by clicking on Schulze at the top of the page and going to his list."
Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out. I'll also take a look in the School of Natural Healing book, since that reminded me. My brain must have been off yesterday, but then again it's hard to function when you're itching so much.
"Uny will have more to say, but I'm sure you want to take IF#1 or get your bowels moving a minimum of twice a day as soon as possible. Taking drugs will just slow/interfere with your healing, but I know how it is to be in a crisis. The thing is to start the real healing process so that you can prevent more of these crises from happening. Take care, and I will be curious to see what Uny tells you."
Points taken.
I definitely want to get off drugs as soon as possible, but I have to have a clear vision on how to handle this, because it might happen again, and it definitely wasn't fun.
Thanks for your reply.
"Hives, allergies, strong reactions of all types are ALWAYS "liver". It's seems like you're starting to be VERY "reactive" (first cayenne that didn't used to bother you, now Humaworm that didn't bother you before...PLUS possible die-off).
You need to get your liver attended to, and you need to do it ASAP - because the pharmaceutical bandaids (while giving relief, as you know) in this case are definitely going to make you more reactive...likely quite quickly."
I think you're right about my becoming reactive. I didn't really see it like that until you mentioned it. I do plan on cutting out the problem by the end of the week because it would be pretty bad if the hives and all start coming through the drugs, like I've heard with other people.
"--FIRST - be SURE to ensure 3 bms daily - stay away from OTC laxatives & Epsom Salts. If you can tolerate IF#1 or LBB (and you have some), go with that...if not, PRUNE JUICE (up to a quart or more a day). You've got to get that bowel moving. If nothing else, 3 warm water enemas daily - just get 'er done."
Alright.
"--FIRST AGAIN - Activated Charcoal - powder is better, but it's harder to find. If you can only find tablets, no problem, crush them. Take AT LEAST 5 teaspoons daily (mix with juice - it has no taste, it's just gritty). This is a fast way to adsorb toxins & poisons out of your bloodstream AND take stress off of your liver. The action of charcoal is to aDsorb (not like a sponge where it has to touch the toxins to soak them up, but like a magnet...it actually PULLS toxins out of your bloodstream and into your digestive tract to be safely flushed down the toilet!). Charcoal *can* be constipating, so you MUST get those bowel movements happening."
Should I take it on an empty stomach or with a meal? Does that matter?
"--Next (if at ALL possible) - if you can find powdered activated charcoal locally...then put an activated charcoal poultice over your liver (4 hours minimum 2x daily, or all night). If you can't find it locally, get it ordered as fast as you can (link below) - this is a GREAT assist for your liver. A charcoal poultice over the liver works as a "second liver"...and it really DOES work! It will pull toxins out of your liver AND toxins out of your bloodstream (that goes through your liver every three minutes). If your liver is really toxic, the poultice might even get warm - that'd be the friction of the toxins pulling through the skin into the poultice.
Here's the instructions:
http://healingtools.tripod.com/char2.html
(you can find ground or whole flax seed 'most anywhere that's health oriented - if you can only find whole, just grind them in your blender - that'll work fine. If you have psyllium husks around that'll work too).
Here's where you can order activated charcoal powder (cheap!...cheaper shipping and FAST SERVICE): http://www.abnat.com/activated-charcoal-powder.htm"
Thanks for the links. I'll get on it.
"--NEXT - Castor Oil pack on your liver, all night for several nights in a row (at the minimum). You can alternate between the charcoal poultice and the castor oil pack nightly...or do one during the day and one at night."
Alright.
"--COFFEE ENEMAS - oh yeah! Dr. Gerson had patients in "high" detox doing 4 a day. 1 a day will help - 2 a day is MUCH better. Not only do coffee enemas increase bile flow, cleanse & detoxify your liver (a perfect "prep" for a liver flush!) - but they also increase peristaltic action in the intestines (assuring that what comes out of the liver exits your body quickly). BONUS: All the time the enema solution is retained, all the blood that's flowing through your liver is cleansed of free radicals!"
Alright, got a few questions, as this is pretty new to me.
Could you point me to some good directions on how to do enemas?
What kind of enema device should I use? The only ones I've seen around are those squirt bottle kinds like they sell at Wal-Mart. Should I look for the hanging bag kind?
What kind of coffee should I use? Will the caffeine cause a rush?
"I understand why you're reasoning/thinking this, but actually, just the opposite is true (IF you flush correctly). The more cleansed your liver is, the more effective it will be at removing toxins. You just need to ensure that you get ALL of "everything" that comes out of your liver from the flush - OUT of your digestive tract asap. If I were you, I'd be starting a liver flush series soon...quite possibly 1 per week (especially if you're not doing daily coffee enemas).
The best/easiest way to ensure your getting all the debris from your liver out of your intestinal tract is Epsom Salts...but perhaps they'd be too harsh on your kidneys right now (that are pulling a LOT of extra weight since your liver seems to be so compromised) - and they're dehydrating and can throw the electrolytes off balance. A colonic after each flush is probably not affordable. The solution? Coffee enemas to the rescue again! They not only cleanse your lower bowel, but also increase peristalsis throughout your intestinal tract. AND since they increase bile flow, they're perfect for ensuring that everything that was 'on the verge of coming out' of your liver/gallbladder, actually makes it's way out."
Sounds good. Is there anything additional I can do to support the liver? Like taking milk thistle for example? I really want to make sure I don't wake up hive hell again, or at least make sure it doesn't get any worse than what I already experienced.
"Insight - methinks you seriously need to prioritize your health & liver issues right now. I know you're stressed already with this 'hive issue', but I'd be amiss if I didn't add the following: every great natural healer (and some MDs) know that we NEVER see cancer unless the liver is compromised. Doing one protocol at a time, and 'bandaiding' things together as they crop up isn't likely to do the trick. If there's ANYTHING I can do to help you 'get on the right track', PLEASE don't hesitate to let me know!"
Thanks for the detailed reply, Unyquity. You've been a big help to me. I'm looking forward to applying all of these.
I sent you a PM, by the way.
