Unfortunately, there are no studies on natural cures done by conventional medicine. This is because natural cures cannot be patented and it would interfere with the business of selling pharmaceutical drugs. This is what it is all about. In fact, there is a movement to discredit and do away with natural healing.
Your story is all too common. Well meaning family members putting pressure on their loved ones to follow conventional treatments, sometimes adding unneeded trauma. The thing is, they do this out of love and know no better. If they knew that insisting that their loved ones follow conventional means such as chemo and radiation, would actually hasten death, they would look for other alternatives. They say that chemo and radiation buy time. That is what we are told. But at what price? The price of a destroyed immune system, together with the devastating side effects. And in my opinion, because of the destruction done to the body, it actually lessens time, when natural means strengthens the immune system and leads to healing. However, the sad fact is this is where their trust lies. Conventional medicine rarely cures. I believe the statistics are 2%, only if the cancer is minimal and, even then, it compromises an already weakened immune system. Natural healing is what gives true hope and the "studies" that we do have reflect the people that have been healed by these means. In other words, the proof is in the pudding.
May I suggest that you incorporate Sutherlandia OPC, which is an extract from the oleander plant, in your healing journey? Oleander is over 90% effective against all types of cancer. Together with this, I would suggest you follow the Natural Anti-Cancer Protocol which has garnered positive results in our private yahoo cancer forum, Oleandersoup. I am having a bit of a problem with the computer right now accessing the link but this can be found at http://www.tbyil.com in the articles Section to the left. In the same articles section on the top right hand of the page, you can read the Oleander Series of articles and see as to its effectiveness.
In the end, despite well meaning family members, it is up to us to take charge of our own health. After all, we will reap the benefits.

Well, the computer gremlins are at it again and the site logged back to dquixote during my post. I would erase my name and let it stand, but I am sure dquixote will come along to expound on the subject more thoroughly.
