From my reply yesterday about a similar question:
1. Do you take the Blood Detox tincture w/ meal, or w/o meal on an empty stomach, 30min before or after meal? Use the following "general rule" for ALL tinctures. They are alcohol based, and we'd like to get them into our systems as quickly as possible. What's the fastest way to get smashed/drunk? (lol, I mean, get herbal tinctures into our bloodstream)? Take them on an empty stomach :) Will the alcohol/herbs get in there if you don't take them on an empty stomach? Sooner or later, for sure and for certain :)
2. As for the liver/parasite tincture, I understand that you have to take it on its own to get the bitter effect. Does it have to be 30min before and after meal? as above. ALSO, I always take 2 teaspoons before every coffee enema (of course, I have plenty to spare)...but you can take it anytime you'd like to assist in whatever 'liver protocol' you're doing :)
Alcohol tinctures absorb through the stomach or upper intestines directly into the blood stream. If they're diluted with food/juice/water, the alcohol ratio would obviously be less, and they will absorb less quickly into the bloodstream. Depending upon 'assimilation' lower down into the colon, if the tinctures have saturated into food particles, some may not be as completely assimilated.
If you dilute it enough and skew the alcohol to liquid ratio would it still bypasses the digestive system?
Nothing we ingest can bypass the digestive system:)

I've been taking 8IF#1 daily spread out thru-out the day for the past few days. I've experimented with mixing with juice/water/IF#2. It just seems no matter what I do, my stomach just gets irritated and progressively getting worse. In fact, last nite, I had a mild ache after taking one IF#1 mixed with one cup of juice. It's VERY typical to have aches & cramping with IF#1, especially when the bowels aren't moving 3x daily. When the bowels aren't moving properly, the herbs sit all in the same place too long. This is why Dr. Schulze says: continuing upping the dose by one capsule daily until you're at 3 bms daily. Eight capsules is not unusualy OR excessive at all...I've helped many that need 15 to get things going - one person needed 30. The faster you get the bowels moving, the less the cramping/irritation will be. It took YEARS for us all to get our bowels this weak and clogged (generally it started when we were toddlers and went from 5 bms daily as a baby to 1-2 daily right after we were potty trained....so we just have to 'stick with it' for the "undoing & healing phase"...and this can take several months - for some, even a year or more. It took Dr. Schulze much longer (but he didn't have IF#1 when we was doing his "undoing/healing".
I had two bms yesterday with the help of rectal suppository. I just feel like IF#1 is not doing much (other than irritating my stomach) since I started the juice fast. I have no bm today. Despite having 2bms yesterday, I feel backup and the IF#2 I took since the last bm are definitely still inside of me. Suppositories DO cause bowel activity, but they do not strengthen or heal the reason (they're a "bandaid", as you most likely already know). For some, taking 8 IF#1 is like taking none - the dosage is dependent upon "need"...the more weak & impacted (and long-standing) the problem, the more we need. If you feel like IF#1 is not doing much, it's because you need more (good example: if someone needs 4 aspirin to beat a headache, if they only take 1/4 of an aspirin and get no results, it's not because the aspirin isn't working - it's because they need more aspirin). I understand the stomach irritation - one option would be for a custom blend (see my email to you); another would be to get LBB from Barefoot.
I'm water fasting today, mostly, not because I'm hungary... I have no urge to eat. It's good to listen to your 'doctor within', and going off of food is 'just what the doctor ordered' many times...IF we're listening to our doctor within correctly with knowledge. When constipated, the body doesn't want to eat because the bowels aren't moving. It's more likely that you'd feel like eating if you got your bowels moving...I'm not in your body, so I can't say for sure. Generally speaking, if you have an IF#2 "clog" or are just normally constipated, going to water has the potential of making it worse (it also has the potential of makin it better)...listen closely to your doctor within...and drink LOTS of water :) It's just that I felt a sharp ache in my stomach in the late afternoon, I then took 2tsp of Slippery Elm Bark mixed with water and another one few hours later; hoping to soothe the stomach or whatever it is a little. I've also been getting a nasty taste in my mouth, only when my stomach is empty and there's been a large gap since my last meal/juice. I'm not sure if it's acid reflux. It doesn't taste sour. Acid reflux "burns". Your digestive tract desperately needs for you to be have 3 bms daily....things 'moving upward' are always indicate a clog lower down in the tubing. Slippery Elm is generally very soothing & healing.
My exit burn has calmed down substantially since I stopped the cayenne.Typical There is still swelling but going to bathroom no longer hurts. I'm sure that's a relief. It still bugs me if I sit too long in one position. I tried putting the white oak bark paste, but I couldn't get it to stay on long enough (mine is mostly external) and not sure if it's doing anything. For the white oak bark "paste"...you should mix that 50/50 with the slippery elm and it needs to be the consistency of "cookie dough". You take about 1/2 cup of that and pack it totally around the hemorrhoid and then put gauze, a cloth or something like a sanitary napkin to hold it in place. When you have to have a bm, remove the gauze/whatever and just 'go through it', then wipe it away, cleanse with a soft/moist cloth, and reapply. You want to especially keep it on all when sleeping.
At this point, I'm more concerned with stomach ache than the exit burn. If I can't take IF#1, then I can't get bms, everything else I tried so hard to do just goes into waste. I agree - our body/health is dependant upon proper digest/bowel function.
I'll resume juice fasting tomorrow. YAY! Not sure if I'd be taking any IF#1, I think the stomach needs more rest. Listen to your doctor within, but always be sure you're listening with correct knowlege I tried prune juice and Smooth Move before, didn't do much for me. I probably didn't take enough or make the tea strong enough.see below :::grin::: I'll try again and take some IF#2 at the same time. Hopefully, that'll do the trick , if not I might have to resort to Epsom Salt. I'll try to get a colon hydrotherapy appt on tuesday. Next time, I'll time the colon hydrotherapy right have the water fast when I expect to be constipated. I understand "doing what you have to do"...just be sure to 'do it with knowledge'. Epsom Salts & hydrotherapy clean the fecal matter off/out of the bowel, but every time the colon has the fecal matter removed with not having to 'do it itself', it becomes a little bit weaker than it was before. Your particular stomach/owie issues aside, it's always better to achieve bowel activity with cathartic herbs (or things like the tea or the juices - below
SCHULZE: I had a man who had a colon cancer and he basically refused
to do anything, but he said he would stop eating and go on juices. This
was early on in my practice, too. These were learning experiences.
He started on a multitude of fruit and vegetable juices and, I
remember it was about a month later into his long juice fast, he pooped
his cancer right out. It was 18" long.
It looked like a rope with figs attached to it. I had seen things like
that before in pictures and books — but that was the first time I ever saw
one come out.
: A rope?
SCHULZE: Yeah, it was like a rope with sacs on it, they were about the
size of figs. And, he actually eliminated his cancer just through juice
fasting. He wasn't using any herbs or doing anything else, something
I wouldn't recommend.
Juice fasting, through my experience and his, is more powerful
than just water fasting. Juices not only fill you with nutrition — but they
empty you out.
If you have any doubt about that, go home and drink a quart
of prune juice and you tell me what happens.
Juices are flushing and cleansing to organs of the body.

SCHULZE: I remember my first bowel cleanse, because I didn't know
about herbs yet. I drank two quarts of apples, fresh squeezed apple juice,
and a quart of fresh made prune juice.
Not only did I have parasites, but I had casing from my colon.
I also had all sorts of dark flecks of things of old come out of my bowel.
That was my first bowel cleanse.
: just from fruit?
SCHULZE: Just from fruit.
: But you took more of it. Most people don't take enough to cause
parasites or anything else to come out.
SCHULZE: No, they don't. Take two quarts of apple and a quart of
prune as your juice for the day on a juice fast and you will notice a
dramatic bowel cleanse.
Tierra, I say "give it a try"! ...2 qts of apple and a qt of prune is a whole lot cheaper than a colonic. :)
p.s. Should I'll also grab some Benitote Clay/Activiated Charcoal to absorb the toxin since I have such long transit time? Extra bentonite & charcoal are essential to have around , but both can worsen constipation. I wouldn't be taking any straight bentonite/charcoal (unless you had to have it for some other reason) until you got the 3bm thing happening.
Blessings of health!
