A new study shows that men and women who eat two eggs for breakfast lose 65% more weight than those who have a bagel breakfast of equal calories. I have been advocating a higher protein breakfast for some time, and it is nice to see ongoing research that confirms the five rules of the Leptin Diet. Rule #4 is “Eat a breakfast containing protein.”
Protein in the morning can boost up you metabolism as much as 30% for as long as 12 hours, which is why study participants also noticed they had better energy and ate less food at lunch. Eggs and cottage cheese are both good high protein breakfast options. Some cultures eat both. Just think you are letting the chicken eat it first, make good protein for you when you eat it. LOL
