After getting around 12 NAET treatments, I got myself retested for my enviornmental allergies.
I was tested for allergies in Dec 2002 was positive for RAGWEED, GRASS, TREES and DUST.
Well after NAET, and another scratch test done on MArch 2009 ( after 6 years and 3 months) , the result is the SAME!!
I am still allergic to RAGWEED, GRASS, TREES and DUST.... What a bummer. My so called NAET specialist had treated me for RAGWEED, GRASS and TREES. And the treatments were supposedly holding. But the scratch test has proved otherwise.
Also, inspite of all the naet, I got a bad flu this year. I was hoping NAET would have made my immune system stronger.
I am thinking, next time, I should tell my practitioner, that I will pay him/her, only after I am cured of my allergies. HE/she does not get any money, till my allergies are gone... Does anyone know any practitioner, who would accept these terms.???
I am frustated, and am very reluctant to try another practitioner. Brings me back to square one and makes me think they are all quacks after all.!!

This is a reply to # 1,374,584The goal of acupuncture treatment is to rebalance energy pathways within the body that are out of balance. However, it's my belief that if the energies within your body are NORMALLY balanced in such a way as to give you allergy symptoms, acupuncture can temporarily relieve those symptoms by redirecting energies, but not cure allergies. Sooner or later, your normal energy balance will re-assert itself. Acupuncture may cure allergies if they are due to an abnormal imbalance of energies in your body.
Why might your NORMAL energy balance create allergy symptoms? Because allergies can be functional. They can have a purpose. They alert us to environmental toxins.

This is a reply to # 1,374,584I tried a NAET for fun.
While I may be wrong, I saw no mechanism of action in what they did. That is to say, I have absolutely no clue how the acupuncture they did would do anything beside leave small pinholes in me.

No, they probably won't guarantee their "work." My son tried it at my prompting. He really thought it was a joke...especially when she told him that he had to keep coming back (more $$$$) because the allergies were "moving around" ?!?!?!

This is a reply to # 1,437,906NAET works. My son is autistic and has seizures. He was not vaccinated and is very low functioning. His allergies were so bad, they triggered seizures in him. No meds worked and I finally figured out it was allergies causing the seizures. He could walk into a room, smell something and have a seizure.
At one point he was having one per minute with 17-25 grand mals a day.
NAET has literally been a God send and this boy has gone from eating only 3 foods to eating far too many to count. He was not gaining weight and in the last year since starting NAET, he has gained 20 lbs.
I also learned to do the treatments at home for the rest of my family. I would suggest to anyone to learn to muscle test and learn to clear yourself of allergens. I heard sometimes certain things may have to be repeated although that hasn't been the case for us.
I am willing to help anyone with more information. I also have a page on my website about this.
