Ive been looking a very good astrology forum and I think Ive found one at last!This message is posted to help me understand the very confounding relationship i have with my partner.When I looked into our charts it surprised me to see the following astrological configurations in our synastry:
* conjuct ascendants at cancer; conjunct descendants at capricorn
* same signs in all the houses (except MC)
* Grand trine interchange formed by our venus & mars (i.e. his mars conj my venus in libra 4th hse; venus trine mars, venus trn venus, mars trn mars)in signs aquarius,libra,& gemini.
* my neptune conjuct his south node 5th hse; his pluto conj my north node in 3rd hse
* my sun conj his pluto and uranus in 3rd hse, opposing his saturn in MC
* our composite south node is in the seventh house,composite sun in the fifth
* our birthdays:sept19,1960;jan25,1967
As you see I have looked a lot into the astrological connections between us, but the more I uncover, the more I am confused with all these heavy sounding data.Thus I seek your help in untangling what seems to be a signs of karmic enmeshment between us. Many thanks.

Well...I'm not an expert at the Karmic side of astrology. I tend to look at the 12th house (do any of your composite planets fall in the 12th house of 'unfinished business'?), Saturn (his Saturn is opposing yours...oppositions are about 'relationships' - so there is a definite past life relationship here. Because it's happening in the Virgo/Pisces axis it could be the server/saviour thing. He's the Priest/Medical Intuitive/Authority and you're a Male (Sun) servant, somehow? But you're a most unusual, original intense Servant! (ha - Uranus/Pluto and your Sun?)
I also look at the Nodes...and you have lots of Node action. Past life stuff AND Future Lives stuff! So that is nice....this is just one of the many lives the two of you have had together...you'll have the next one together too.
By the Nodes...Your Past life....Lovers (5th house and Scorpio) - ooh but it's conjunct Neptune....this could mean that although you had a fun, pleasureable relationship in your most recent past life - maybe it was Platonic? Or...you weren't actually physical....it was during the in-between life that you were 'Lovers'....? hmmmmm. Which might be one of the reasons why you wanted to be Lovers in THIS life!
By the Nodes...Your Future Life...an intense relationship that involves powerful communication and transformation? Maybe the next life the two of you will transform together...?
The data you've uncovered are not heavy at all! That Venus/Mars conjunction is hot hot hot! It looks like the two of you would desire to create a Beautiful Harmonious Home together...Fifth house composite Sun...that means that your relationship is Fun and Creative.
For a long-term thing in this life now...see if Saturn trines or sextiles (synastry-wise) either of your Sun's. This will 'achor' the relationship and make it more long-term. (I know his Saturn opposes your Sun...so that could be a long-term sign just so long as you don't feel stifled by him. Does he have a 9th house Saturn in Pisces then? (I'm not looking at your charts - don't have time!) Just so long as his spiritual beliefs and philosophy aren't sooo dogmatic that you feel limited by them....it should be okay.

I just wanted to respond to some questions you cited: It is his pluto and uranus in conjunction to my sun opposed by his saturn..Yes, you are right, his saturn is in pisces and it is conjunct his MC.Thus my sun is conjuct IC, tho it beats me what that means!
I'd very much appreciate it too if you could shed some light on the Grand Trine that occurs in our synastry charts because I rarely ever encounter about it anywhere...
Actually I feel as if the 'next life' has begun now...in terms of transformation and all that. Sorry about the title giving the impression that Im interested only in the past life.

Well...as you probably know a Trine is a positive flow of harmonious energy. A Grand Trine is a closed circuit of this harmoniously flowing energy. If you jump into that stream then you can use this energy. Sometimes Grand Trines don't get used alot or aren't very productive because people take them for granted. It's too easy.
The fact that you have a Grand Trine in Air signs involving your Venus' and Mars' is quite something! Off the bat I'd say that there is a helluva lot of sexual energy between the two of you! Do you ever get out of bed? ha.
But, actually, together you can probably accomplish quite a bit - because you can get (mars) what you desire (venus) together. It means there is a strong desire nature between the two of you (could be a desire for Home - 4th house - or sex or things. Because it's all happening in Air signs I'd say that you guys have IDEAS! Now the trick is to bring those Ideas down to earth...make them happen. Manifest them. If you have some dynamic opposition (kite?) happening within this Grand Trine then that might be just the 'challenge' that you need to manifest those ideas. Cerebral.
That's what comes to mind!

This is a reply to # 137,424Thanks a lot Tracey for your reply.Now things are getting quite clear to me now, and it's true what you said on ideas about home & family as being passionately exchanged between us(unfortunately being opposed coldly sometimes by his saturn).
Anyway you mentioned about a KITE configuration...will this be a planet forming a trine or a sextile to the planets in the grand trine OR a planet in opposition the apex (in this case the venus-mars conjunction) in the trine? Ive been confused about that distinction on a kite.

So, yeah, the Kite configuration means that there is an opposition to one of the points on the Grand Trine. Then, usually, it happens that there are little sextiles going to that point of opposition. It will very obviously look like a kite in your chart if you've got one. The opposition will make the Grand Trine more dynamic...if there's a little challenge in there it usually makes the Grand Trine have a focus....makes it very useful.
