I'm not sure of what the name of the type of muscle testing is that he does- I think it could be Vaga testing, but I'll ask him. I've had people ask me to ask if he knows of practitioners in different areas that he would recommend that do what he does, and he just laughs and says he would have to be cloned. He has degrees in Chiropractic, Traditional Chinese Med/Acupuncture, Nutrition- through the years he's practiced, he's continued his education- Homeopathic, Functional Medicine- and stuff I had no idea he even did until I was looking at his new website.
He does different types of muscle testing techniques. He uses a tray that holds vials of whatever it is he is testing--most of them are homeopathic vials with specific things he's testing for. I was reading the site that Newport gave, and it talked about the person needing to be "balanced"- that is the very first thing he tests me for--and there have been several times that I have made the 3 1/2 hour trip- one way...only to be found to be "untestable" and so out of balance that no matter what he tried, nothing worked- and he told me there was no use in him trying to do the testing on me. That's why it is so important to get a practitioner that really knows what they are doing. He told me he had had one other patient that continued to be "untestable" and other ND's also couldn't get her balanced to test her. He is a researcher, and he somehow figured out that it was from a weak thymus. When he put her on thymus supplements, she because testable--so he tested my thymus--sure enough! Very weak. It made a big difference, I haven't had anymore trips to him that I haven't been able to be tested. I think the other thing that helped--was reading someplace on a site that Newport had given some time back on the muscle testing- that said to be taking something with chloryphyll in it before being tested.
The other thing that is important, is having a practitioner that really knows what the body is saying- because there are times he reads things differently. It's really hard to explain, but he's done it for so many years, he knows different methods of finding out the answers the body gives. And he knows how to read what the responses are.
Sometimes, the muscle will show very weak, almost drop to the side without him putting much pressure on it. But, other times he's tested me for specific things, and the response he's looking for is a very strong muscle response as the indicator.
Most of the time, he is using the tray with the specific vials in it--and the patient is holding a ....hmmmm- this is hard to explain- (Babirye, Newport-- can you please help me explain this ?) But then, I know I write chapters.
The patient is holding a copper handhold in one hand, that has a wire on it that is hooking it to the machine. All coins, keys, glasses,
Cell Phone s- everything needs to be out of the pockets. Feet can't be crossed.
Once he has tested the energy balance, then he proceeds with the rest of the testing.
The
parasite vials that he tests with, are about 3-4 different vials- the first ones are all the
parasites who's official scientific names are alphabetized from say- A to G; H to M (that's just an example, I don't know for sure how the letters are broke up)...in this test, while I'm holding onto the copper handhold in one hand, he will have me put out the right arm, and first test it for the strength--and then put the vial in the tray, and test it again for the strength. If it goes weak, it's indicating that there's something there that my body is responding to that needs to be addressed. He goes through whatever he's testing me for, and the ones that show weak- he retests me with, but then he also uses the vial, and checks the response to whatever supplements/homeopathics are going to work the best for that specific thing. It can be combinations of different products--sometimes ones that he thinks "should" work- aren't what my body shows is needed. When he determines which ones are the best, then he starts the dosing testing to see how much of each I need. There have been times that I've needed alot- there have been times that I haven't needed any.
One other technique he does, is he has me hold my arm out, and hold touch my pointer finger to my thumb- then the middle finger to the thumb, then the ring finger to the thumb, and them the little finger to the thumb, and then all of them together to the thumb. The reactions with the strength of the muscle to the different fingers..indicates different things to him- if the condition is hereditary, etc etc. It's interesting.
What has been surprising, is how accurate he's been. I went for 4 months without killing flukes, and thought I had them all cleaned up...and I was SO surprised when it was indicated in the muscle testing that I needed to hit flukes! The main product that showed up the best for me for hitting them, was the VRM4, from Systemic Formulas. And at a large dose--he never goes by the amount on the bottle, it's always by what the body indicates is needed for the dosing.
Sure enough! Within the following week, I was so surprised to get that "kicked in the lower gut" type of cramping, with the urgent need to hurry to the bathroom--which usually indicates your body is getting rid of something- and to my surprise, had a dumping of flukes! It happened several different times like that. He told me that the
parasites "cycle" too- I think he said roundworms cycle every 180 days. That's one of the reasons that he won't start a patient killing
parasites unless they are willing to go a minimum of 3 months, non-stop- and people like myself that find a worse infection of them, he told me to expect that it would take a minimum of a year, non-stop. He told me that as long as I was killing them, and testing for them, that he expected me to keep at it. When patients of his have not followed his instructions, and quit in the middle of it- he won't restart them again. He said the initial killing of them is extremely important in keeping after them until they are cleaned up "in all their phases", and one of mistakes he sees people making, is starting and stopping, starting and stopping- allowing them to not only continue living, but reproducing and creating even more all the time.
One of the other important things he stresses, is the importance of the elimination organs being cleared out, and functioning well--colon, kidneys, lymph etc. I cringe when I read about people killing parasites and being constipated.
Like the flukes that surprised me several different times though- he told me they most likely had been hidden out in different organs- and they sure enough were not the same types of flukes. Different herbal combinations hit them differently.
The other biofeedback testing (with the computer he does) is with the MSAS Professional. You can look information up about it online. Gosh, I don't know if any practitioner in the US can admit to using the type of machine Newport uses anymore- there used to be a place to look up practitioners in your area that do the different types of testing.
I would have been struggling, and doing alot of guessing/experimenting on my own- without having a clue as to what all needed to be addressed. I was so fortunate to have found him before I started the
parasite killing on my own--I would have never addressed it as aggressively as he had me do, and not for the length of time he kept me at it. I probably would have read the instructions on the bottles like everyone else does. He had knowledge of products I never would have known about--and, BTW "None of this is cheap :) " But, how amazing it is, when you see so much stuff coming out of you- and you realize that MD's would have never found it--they just finally told me they could put me on anti-depressants. Thank goodness too, because it ticked me off enough that my husband and I both knew I had to do something differently, that my health was only getting worse through MD's. I was sick.
Good luck to you. Keep us informed.
