lemon tree: what can this be?

Hi all,
Just hoping someone may have a guess:
My Meyer lemon tree's leaves are turning spotted yellow with some black spotting kind of moldy looking specks in the back of the leaf.
Kind of looks like rose leaf blight. Any ideas or suggestions?
It did well throughout the winter and just noticed that last night.

It may appear from some of the posts on the links yo provied that maybe my tree may actually have spider mites - some of the pictures and comments were very similar to mine.
EEEKKK!!!
I will have to check it out tonight, and hopefully take some pictures.
My picture posting has been delayed because all the software to process photos from my camera to the internet is in my laptop which is right now being 'debugged' :(
I do thank you for your comments and will post back on results or more ?????'s...

My lemon tree today. Doing significantly better, sprayed w/water and the w/soapy water - all the 'black spots' disappeared - thus it seems like it was in fact 'spider mites' as per Tony's links - though, it seems they attack only if the plant is stressed, thusly - I will also be following up with Moreless advise on reconstituting the tree. ML: Can you verify after seeng pics from today?
