Dear Kapule,
I have had an inflamed gallbladder twice and both times I felt very sick indeed. Because of the pressure on the liver, there were very many weird and disturbing symptoms as pain was transferred all over the body. I thought I was dying as well for a while.
But I wasnt although I was quite ill on both occasions. What helped me through was a lot of rest, cutting out all fats for a couple of months so that the gall had chance to rest and having days where I just ate apples adn carrots and drank mineral water. Although its not a cure, calming the body down and allowing the inflammation to pass are crucial to overcoming the fear and thinking about the next stage. Taking some lecithin in juice can also help to emulisfy any fats in your digestive system and speed up the calming of the body.
I agree also with the previous poster about the dangers of hyperventilation, shallow, rapid breathing which can drain the brain of oxygen and create a feeling of panic and anxiety. As supplements, calcium and magnesium will help, ( take them with some apple cider vinegar in juice to ensure absorption). But acupunturists are probably the best and easiest way to get the body relaxed again. They have very powerful methods which will work quickly.
If you can trust your doctor to be supportive, then there should be no harm in consulting him/her. My doctor was worse than useless and made several mistakes so that I had to work out most of this myself. But maybe you are luckier.
