Mono is the kissing disease and Epstein Barr is from the mono family. So yes, I have Epstein Barr and never passed it on. 90 percent have the ability to get the virus but only 10 percent actually become acitive. Why, thru anger and sadness. This usually triggers the virus. So my family was suseptible during my active periods but thankfully never got it. At the time, I had no ideal it was from Mono, as 24 years ago this was a silent disease and unheard of. There are a very few articles that it is curable but I believe like many that it is an incurable disease, we can silent the symptoms but you always are caring the virus which can become active at anytime.

I have had several outbreaks since my initial discovery many years ago and it is said to be the leading cause of my MS. Needless to say that is taken care of now and you can lead a productive life thru diet and rest. You will be suseptible to insomnia and you need vitamins. Don't try the natural route because you need sups to survive. I take grape seed, olive leaf, vit c, fennel, tumeric, ginger, etc. I keep it natural but to the point of things needed. I must have rest and peace in my life. If I have a period of anixiety I get a flare up.

It starts out like the flu and you get it again and again. I have been tested lately and it is recorded high. Although I have no existing long life symptoms, I must still be careful.

Yes, I had infectious mono about 15 years ago that landed me in the hospital for a couple days b/c I also had jaundice, beginning liver / kidney failure, hypovolemia with it too.

It was the start of a downhill exacerbation of symptoms related to my candida. Before mono, I had chronic ENT things here / there and really painful periods. After mono, all hell broke loose in my body. I haven't been the same since.

Yep...sure did. Thats how all my problems started. Got it somehow at work either the first aid cabinets I restocked, or the public phones I used until I got a cellphone
while working there. Shortly after I got it...I had trouble breathing (spells of shortness of breath) this landed me in the hospital for tests on everything except
my stomach which was in my opinion the cause of the breathing trouble because
I was bloated all of a sudden (and men generally dont get bloated).

It was called irritable bowel syndrome. Went on a diet for that. Got slowly
sicker as I was still eating Sugar and didnt start to improve until I bought
fiber and colon cleansing kit online and after doing self reserach went on the candida diet.

I think it was candida the whole time and Epstein Barr may have been caused by candida. I had a great deal of stress at the time, my father had just died, moved in with my mother , and had just started a very stressful job.

I didnt infect anyone else. (the whole time doctors told me it was all in my head and I should see a srhink. So I fired them all and do not see doctors to this day)

yes, I got it from my best friend. The only way I could tell I was sick was that I was sleeping all the time, more than 12 hrs for a month. Around the same time I started having anger problems. That's also when I started taking naps in the afternoons because I was exhausted all the time. Changing my diet, I stopped taking those naps.

Yup. I had mono 14 years ago, and I did not pass it on to anyone either.
I must have been vulnerable to it from emotional stress, and my body
did not start making antigens until several years later. By that time
candida had manifested itself.. I am sure that for me there was a connection.

Yes, I had it, lived in university residence and had a girlfriend, didn't pass it onto anyone.

When I had it, I was 22 and the only symptom I had was that I was tired all the time. For 2 months I slept 16 hours per day. And after that, technically everything was ok.

However, the mono was another benchmark where my health began to (slowly) deteriorate as well.

Apparently I still have dormant mono in my system, that's what my iridologist says. I'm going to use herbal tonics to slowly remove it over the following year.

I definitely had mono as well, I had blood tests done every week for mono (to see if I was still contagious) because I was dying to kiss my girlfriend at the time.
