Let me echo Guzmeist on all of her points:
Many of us have had these symptoms and more. Read through some posts and perhaps you will discover that some other unexplained issues you might be experiencing are related to the Mirena
Do what is best for you: GET IT OUT. You will feel better immediately. It will take time for your body to be completely healthy, but again read through the posts, and you will see that many of us instantly felt better. My worst day without Mirena is better than my best day with it and I know I still have a long road ahead of me (today is one month without it).
Do not let medical professionals tell you that you are wrong. You know your body better than anyone and we have intuition for a reason, it led you to this forum. If you read through the posts you will see many of us had doctors, nurses who were less than supportive with our decision to have the Mirena removed. It is your body, if you want it out, that is their job to take it out, regardless of the reason. Personally, I felt that if I told my NP that I wanted it out to get pregnant, she would have been happy to oblige and I am 39 with four kids AND been told another pregnancy was "not recommended".
I am sending you positive thoughts. Take care of yourself and keep us posted.
