I recently discovered (to my horror) that my 16 year old Pek is urinating on the side of my couch. I have been scrubbing ever since. The research I have done sounds like it's pretty hopeless to break him of this habit. Once he has marked his territory, the scent on that couch will always be there.
Do you know of anything to put on the bottom of my couch to keep him away?

enzymes on the bottom of your couch.

You should be able to find it at places
like PetsMart and Petco.
It might help to put up a barrier too.

One of my dog babies was out running
the countryside and ran smack into a
barbed wire fence where there was
probably not one previously. She sliced
open her chest and it took stitching
and weeks of an Elizabethan Collar to
heal.
You are right on one thing though, I
doubt she will run into that fence
again~!
