What about this idea...somewhere recently I read the definition of fruit includes being able to pick it without killing the main plant and something about the seeds...by this definition tomatoes, zucchini, squash, etc would be fruit. If using this idea, many fruits and "vegetables" could be mixed because they are really all fruit.
Anyway, in all of this type of stuff I have been reading lately, I haven't seen anything about not mixing. In fact, in the "Toxic Relief" book, the recipes he gives for juices are often a mix of fruit and veggies. For example, 1/4-1/2 head of cabbage, a handful of collard greens, 2 carrots, 1 apple.
Logically, why should'nt we be able to mix???
