My mom is currently undergoing the therapy however she feels weak all the time! Shes also taking amino acids, immunotherapy, Laetrile, rarely does green juices, just the apple-carrot.
Shes doing a modified Gerson, under the supervision of a CHIPSA trained doctor.
She also does not do the enema part as she just had colon surgery few months back.
I personally would rather make her go through 100% on the gerson protocol, but shes stubborn and is making all sorts of excuses to avoid enema!
Shes been on the modified therapy for 2 months now I believe. Thanks for any advice

This is a reply to # 1,323,650hi....yes, gerson therapy has much more chance of working when it's done completely, the juices (10-13/day), the coffee enemas and keeping to the diet. and the green juice is very important, I think it'd be the green juices to get to first and if those are all done, then get to carrot or carrot/apple. they actually taste not too bad when made with apple it covers up the bitterness. but it's not an easy task doing that many juices/day, so good for her for trying.
I can tell you from my own experience, just doing juices without correcting diet didn't do that much for me. I needed to do the diet too, and the coffees. (I didn't have cancer, btw, but was very ill not even functional). it's hard for the program to work when only a piece is done. I don't know about coffee enemas after having surgery though. maybe the gerson institute has information on this.

Actually the SAD diet has way too much protien and that laden with fats
Cancer is a disease that one would rather not feed dairy or meat fats, or any oil, except flax seed oil and that not heated!
No avocados (these are highly nutrious but still too concentrated) no fats but those on the diet (flax seed oil)

I spoke to her and shes going to be doing the enema part next month, after getting the green light from her doctors (surgeon and her Alternative MD)
What is the SAD diet by the way?
Also about Chemo? From what I understood about Gerson, the longer they stay on poison treatments,the harder it is going to be to detoxify, thus decreasing the chances of recovery?
I believe theres a free documentary you can watch from gerson.org
The hard part is getting them to SWITCH from traditional to alternative, which sadly most people just will not do as it goes against the grain! That ofcourse means loss of lives!

This is a reply to # 1,323,806Just out of curiosity, as I only recently found out about Gerson therapy, what were your results after applying this protocol? And how long were you on it before you saw improvement? Would you say you have a "clean bill of health" because of this therapy?
I know this person who does have cancer, and is undergoing chemo currently. I would like to find out more about it for her.

gerson therapy was amazing. I did two rounds, 6 months each round. the first time it wasn't until about 3 months in that I started feeling better. the second time I did it, the results came sooner and I was better to begin with as well.
my root problem is parasites. I did gerson therapy out of desparation as I became so ill and had so many debilitating symptoms I couldn't function anymore. it brought my health back up to a level of functioning again.
after that I continued keeping a whole foods diet, did periods of juicing, many Liver Flushes and continued on bowel herbs...all this over time has helped in my general health. the parasites are still there, but they do not make me ill like before. but because they are so resistant to leaving, I'm always short of being completely well. gerson therapy isn't a parasite protocol, I did it because I had hit bottom and had nothing to lose in trying. it didn't clear the parasites (of course) but as far as bringing back my health, it was fantastic.
as a cancer treatment though, that's what gerson is most known for, and there's many testimonials of people completely recovering from various types, even end stage cancers. so it's very hopeful for your friend.

This is a reply to # 1,324,638Wow, that sounds promising. Now, did you seek out a clinic or a physician specializing with the Gerson therapy? From what I've seen the cost could be quite an issue with attending these clinics. Do you feel this is a requirement or can they just learn the methods and apply them without a physician or specialists?
I suppose you have taken many of the herbal preparations targeting parasitic infections and they were not effective to completely rid of them?

This is a reply to # 1,324,659hi...thanks, yes, I've tried a million natural therapies for parasites from traditionl to the exotic herbs, supplements, concentrates, essential oils, and homemade mixes many times the strength of commercial products. many things I did for extended periods of time. most things did not help ultimately, some even made it worse. but a few things did help. overall, I am very much better and I think with time I'll get totally well. hope so.
gerson therapy I did on my own, the clinics are so expensive. even if I could afford it, I was too ill to travel anyhow. luckily, the protocol is very simple and I didn't have any complications. I did 10 juices/day, actually I diluted them a bit too. and 2 coffee enemas/day, one morning and one night. keeping to the diet is really important in it as well. times in the past I'd done juicing but still was having some processed foods and it didn't work at all. flushing out the stones from my liver also helped my health, I was packed with liver/gall stones.
a while ago I saw a good videa on gerson therapy, for free...I'll see if I can find it for you.

Unless it is a basic fresh water source or some sort of Ormus Water
Liver Flushes on Gerson will be taken care of by the coffee enemas and best not be taken out of context
The therapy is complete- I do not know what 2 rounds of Gerson therapy is- There are no rounds of this therapy as far as cancer or any other auto immune disease is concerned
Don't fool around with your mothers prognosis nor health

This is a reply to # 1,323,650I've done the Gerson Therapy before and the coffee enemas exacerbated my symptoms. Have you read The China Study by T. Colin Campbell? In a nutshell, animal foods are directly implicated in cancer. So is cooked food. All fat needs to be avoided.
The body heals. We need to give it the conditions to do so by removing the cause. She can still get great results without the enemas but has to remove all animal foods, salt, Sugar and fat out of her diet and REST.
