Okay, so my motives for fasting had nothing to do with loosing weight, but certainly I don't want to gain any (I am 5'4, a little less than 120 lb). If I'm doing a ten day fast (by the way, I haven't eaten since 6:30 Sunday and it's now 8:20 Wednesday, so I'm doing well. No side affects except for a little weakness in the morning on the 2nd day, and a dull headache today) how long should I break the fast for? I know I have to slowly incorporate foods into my diet, starting with juice, then fruits, greens, etc.. Will this prevent weight gain? Also, when i begin eating again I'll eat every three hours and also exercise more to also speed up my metabolism. I do already have a fast metabolism to start with though. On my fast I'm doing muscle exercises to try to prevent too much muscle loss. Also, I'm 15 so I don't know if these things are different. Oh, and how much water should you drink each day, in
oz or ml? I also figured out that if my fast ends on the 18th (last day of school!) I will only have 6-7 days to break it until Christmas, and I mean my mother would be so insulted if I didn't eat her dinner. Sorry that I'm asking so much, I just want to make sure I'm fasting in a safe and correct way. By the way, I can't believe how easy this fast is. I have no hunger, even when I smell tons of food. I feel so much more connected to myself when I'm not giving into the desires of the flesh. It's great.
