Paint Lady
Your post reminds me. I need to correct something I posted this week.
I purchased a new copy of my New Diet Revolution Book (had loaned out my old one) a couple of days ago. I found that he has some new information in it and it's written better. Either that or I was so overwhelmed with the lifestyle change that I didn't absorb it all. Anyway to the point. He talks about sucralose, which is usually marketed as Splenda. Apparently the Canadians have been using it and running tests on it for over 20 years and it's come out clean so I guess it is safe to use. It's a
Sugar product that the body can't digest so it passes through. Tastes more like
Sugar than anything else that is out there. It can also be heated without becoming dangerous. It doesn't affect blood
Sugar levels either like sugar or aspartam.
I'm thinking of using it in my dandelion tea. Someone on here recommended me trying it in place of coffee and it actually does taste somewhat like coffee, plus it's good for the kidneys and liver. Even has that bitter coffee taste I'm so used to:) Next to buy some cream. It will be a bit like that old coffee I used to drink except without the caffein. Not sure about the kolic acid though....
Now if I could just think of a way of
juicing a hazelnut into it:)
Take care,
Lisa
