I found this forum recently and am intrigued. My husband has Parkinson's and I have a granddaughter that has severe candida at eight years old. Would Miracle-Mineral-Supplement help either of these conditions?

It' worth a try for the Parkinson's as I have read that it is partially caused from parasites. It might also work for Candida. Both of these conditions could also be improved with Iodine Supplementation.

Is it something one would take if they don't have any dibilitating symptoms?

You could try it to see what it will do for you. I no longer take it as I no longer have a reason.

Are there any absolute "no no's" one should be aware of? Any undesirable side effects?

If you take too much too soon and don't cut back at the first signs of discomfort you will get diarrhea or worse. Pains in stomach and vomiting. If you mix in about 1/3 a cup of ORGANIC grape juice it will taste much better and buffer the stomach. Vitamin C will neutralize it so you have to be careful of what you mix it with.

MMS is no miracle cure. nothing is. Miracle-Mineral-Supplement is a pathogen fighter. i dont think parkinsons is caused by a pathogen. in fact, knowing a little about halogens myself(fluorine, chorine, bromine and iodine), one of the treatments ofr parkinsons is a type of bromide. chloride can and will displace bromide, so Miracle-Mineral-Supplement could actually be contraindicated in your case, or any parkinsons receiving medical treatment.

i dont agree with bromide treatments for parkinsons. i think, among other things, there is a lack of Iodine and good fats and or the ability of the body to utilize them.

the lighter the halogen, the harder it is for the body to handle it. chlorine has a place in the human body, but it is not very great.

i would also look into the possibilty of mercury build up in the brain as well, if i were you.

It may help if any infection is present as a burden to the body but you can't overlook deficiencies or toxicity of some kind and Miracle-Mineral-Supplement may not be the best way to deal with it though it is claimed to help with mercury.
Candida in a child is best dealt with by diet and avoidance of Antibiotics .
MMS doesn't seem to be the best to deal with this. Alternatives are coconut oil, Colloidal Silver , zapping and Iodine supplemenation
