Has anyone tried this thing?? Is it the same as Patricia's energized water which can be created using a simple battery? Kangen water unit is so expensive. Is it also adding just electron to the water to raise its PH and ORP and reduce its surface tension.
They claim, Kangen water is excellent to lose weight as it emulsifies fat. There is a you tube video you can watch....Also supposed to be curative of Cancer??

This is a reply to # 1,268,985I have seen the videos, seen the machine and drank about 10 gallons of the water. The water is pretty tasty, but I could not tell any real difference in health from the natural spring water I normally drank. The machine appears to be a good one, but it is indeed very expensive - which is no surprise since it is sold via MLM.
As is typical of MLM products, it was marketed to me at least as much for the potential money I could make once I bought into the program (bought a machine) as it was for the purported health benefits.
Now, the videos were impressive - showing healthy intestines and internal photos after the Kangen water program compared to some pretty yucky looking photos before the program. My lingering question, though, was whether a person could follow the same program, including sea grasses and such, and drink the same quantity of spring water or other healthy water and not achieve similar results.
Bottom line to me - if you have plenty of money so that cost is no object, go ahead and try it. Myself, I don't have that kind of money and I don't do MLM.

I have ORP meter. Videos show that KW(Kangen Water) has very Low ORP value( -ve value) meaning that it has strong anti-oxidant properties. Low ORP value means it has excess of electrons (negatively charge)
Spring water unfortunately has a +ve ORP value, not negative.
I have no access to KW so I cannot measure it myself.
I am going to try to create EW(Energized water) using a bettery and measure its ORP and PH.
Also one video mentioned that KW can actually emulsify fat. That has lead to weight loss in people and also releif from chronic diseases like diabetes, high cholesterol. Actually the excess electrons in KW help in reducing inflammation in the body...
I also read in some blog on internet that some "reversed theirs grays by drinking KW for 4-5 months".. Very very impressive for me as I am still looking for an answer to grey hair.
The thing is, this water becomes more hydrating and reaches cells and tissues, where ordinary water cannot. This is because KW, EW have "lowered surface tension".....
I am so curious...
The KW unit is so darn expensive that I personally cannot buy it, unless I can convince my husband that it really works. He is a big time skeptic and has zero interest in alternative health. So far he is happy with his health.

The Kangen is the first of the commercial units on the scene. This is a reply to # 1,269,096Both distilled water and reverse osmosis water turn me off. Extremely time consuming and energy wasting ways to purify the water. Plus they are water purifiers only, not water energizers.
I will not be buying Kangen Water unit , because it is so expensive. As usual, I like only cheap cures. Good health should be accessible to all.
I drink Brita filtered water and change my filters regularly. I am aware of the fluoride scare, but I am no longer paranoid about fluoride.- Re: Kangen Water? Waterdoc

You appear to have some very out of date information about reverse osmosis technology. It is a very efficient way to obtain purified water.
Acid/Alkaline ionizers do not energize anything. They add electrons and carry filthy water deep into the cellular matrix, planting timebombs of toxicity for later potential health challenges. Short term benefit with long term down sides.- Re: Kangen Water? San2006

This is a reply to # 1,269,171If you still think adding electrons means energizing the water, you are incorrect. You can add electrons to purified water, however you cannot put it through most ionizers, because it will not conduct electricity. There are a couple of inexpensive machines that can start with purified RO or distilled water, add a little Himilayan salt or similar for conductivity and minerals, two electrodes and you have a similar end result. The better way is to start with pure water, use a catalyst like QuantaWater that actually raises the coherent supportive energies and structures the water with outstanding response from the body, particularly the adrenal function.

This is a reply to # 1,269,057I have a very good friend who owns a Kangen unit and is a distributor. As is par for MLM products, it is very large on claimed benefits, very expensive and most of his efforts are recruiting others to buy the machine and be part of his downline.
When it comes to emulsifying fat, I think that the accompanying diet and any good water might well do the same, the same as I think is true for other advertised benefits.
As for grey hairs, you know age always wins in the end, but I understand wanting to do all we can to beat and postpone it. Try fo sho wi (also called fo who wu) and kambocha tea and plenty of omega 3s for your grey hairs. All three have been reported to work for some people. And avoid smoking, coffee, stress and excessive alcohol.
Tell your husband congratulations on his blindfolds.

However, it tastes great, and my mom kept giving me gallons of it, and one day I drank a load of it, and for the next 2 weeks I was thirsty unlike I have ever been, and I felt great, but this thirst was unreal!! My hubby had it too, and in two weeks he was pooping out this black sludge, which i understand is quite normal in that amount of time for many men with "back problems". I noticed that my back wasn't slipping out like every darn time I moved.
So, I have given you some truth, what you do with it is your business, but we did buy the smaller machine (501) where you pay $50 a month, and we adore this little machine, everyone that comes over asks for it, it tastes so ... wonderful? The body loves it.
I also have a distiller, but only use this for taking my iodine.
Bleach water / chlorinated water? I don't understand why people don't understand that whatever kills organisms kills us too! It isn't even natural so that our bodies can break it down...................it just sits in our fat or in our joints and eats away what good we have left! Chlorine kills. We are, after all, alive!

As far as emulsifying fat, this is really way off base. Hydroxides react with fats to create soaps. This is not emulsification. If you want to emulsify fats try lecithin granules.
The claim of curing cancer is also bogus. Cancer IS NOT caused from acidity. In fact many acids are very effective in controlling cancer such as ascorbic acid, betulinic acid, glucoronic acid, etc. And wiping out the stomach acid with hydroxides is going to lead to a number of other problems from nutritional deficiencies and increased pathogens passing through the digestive tract. This is a reply to # 1,294,066I prefer spring water. Though unpurified spring water is hard to come by. So I primarily drink reverse osmosis water, but I add silica to the water to reduce the water's solvency. Otherwise the water will too aggressive and will rob the body of beneficial vitamins and minerals. The same applies to distilled water. The more pure water becomes the more solvent it is. Ultrapure waters are actually highly corrosive due to this fact.

This is a reply to # 1,294,622It is a purified diatomaceous earth. In other words the mineral oxides are removed leaving behind pure silica. The silica reacts with the water forming orthosilicic acid, which is what our bodies use in the formation of collagen and elastin.

This is a reply to # 1,295,949Some health food stores carry it. It is also the source of silica in Solgar's Ocean Silica, and is used to make other silica products. You can open the silica capsules and add it to your water. Otherwise you have to go through raw material suppliers, but they require a 25kg minimum purchase. The best way I found to use it is to add a spoon full to a big jug of water and let it settle out. Drink the water above the sediment. As the water level goes down add more water and again let it settle out. Small amounts of silica will dissolve in to the water each time you add more water forming orthosilicic acid. That is what you drink. A spoon full of silica will last probably a couple of years depending on how much water you go through. The easiest way to tell it is working is to check the strength of your finger nails in about a week. They will get pretty strong showing you are absorbing the silica.
