Last week on Wednesday the tumor on the inside of her legs grew overnight by 20 fold. By Thursday afternoon I sought out the vet thinking there might be an infection. I have been increasing the amount of urine I inject to 1 ml per site plus 1 ml subcutaneously, two to three times a day. The vet said that it was just a weird, but natural increase of the size.
By Friday liquid had built up around the tumor and I punctuated it over the next couple of days and pulled about 8 ml of reddish liquid (not blood) from it.
By Saturday the size of the tumor had decreased and now it is stable / decreasing very slightly.
The other tumor (on the outside of her leg) has been changing daily as well, though not so dramatically. It is very slowly reducing in size.
My vet doesn't know about the UT, I decided not to risk telling him as I am not sure he would understand. I need him for the Acemannan Immunostimulant injections once a week as I can't get this Aloe Vera based product myself and the injection is complicated. He keeps telling me how amazed he is at the fact that Lucky is her usual self. She runs around, is happy and full of energy (about 95% of the time), she eats with appetite and today she wanted to play...
So I am crossing my fingers!!

This is a reply to # 125,247Hi Joy, I'm So glad Lucky is enjoying life while her treatment progresses. Of course it's only our 'superior' mind that causes us to worry! She obviously feels fine. It seems as if somthing is happening to the tumors that would not happen without the Urine injections. It's difficult if you have to keep the vet involved, whether he would understand or not if you told him. When I saved a pony's life with homeopathy after the regular vet told me it was hopeless and to have him shot. The vet said 'Don't ever call me again!' I have never since told a doctor or vet about alternative treatments.
Do you use your urine or Lucky's for the injections?
And do you mean you inject 10 mil not 1 mil?

This is a reply to # 125,250I do mean 1 ml - unfortunately the tumors are so hard I can't inject more at a time. It comes to about 9 ml per day which is not a lot, I know... Additionally I need to get larger syringes and that in itself is more than difficult in New York, as you need a prespription from a vet.
My vet has been pretty supportive - he is amazed at the progress Lucky is making. He gives her once a week the Acemannan Immunostimlant which I can't get without a prescription either. I think it is the combination of all things which is helping Lucky heal. She definitely was in a healing crisis last week.
I additionally have been working with an animal communicator - I know it sounds odd, but she's helped me incredibly. All of the things she has been telling me about Lucky are spot on (I've had three appointments with her over the last seven or eight weeks). She told me that Lucky has stabilised now and the cancer is no longer growing - in some spots it has begun shrinking.
At first I thought she might be a quack - but during my very first appointment with her she said to me that I needed to stop feeding Lucky that awful green stuff (two days earlier I had tried to swap her over to 100% raw, including collard greens/zucchini put through the food processor) and that I needed to go back to what I was feeding her before. That convinced me. The lady could not, under any circumstances, have known what I feed Lucky as I hadn't mentioned anything to her. Other things were that she told me Lucky was looking a lot worse than she was feeling and I would see a huge difference soon. Two days later Lucky was her old self, no longer limping and full of energy.
So I am pretty convinced that she is for real. It helps me center myself again.
It's been a really, really rough time. Everyone keeps telling me 'what are you stressing about, she looks wonderful, she acts her normal self'. But as you say it is our 'superior mind' that causes us to worry.

This is a reply to # 125,252Hi Joy, An animal communicator came to our local riding stable. A young lady had just bought a horse that misbehaved in a particular way. The animal communicator explained why the horse did this and gave a detailed history of how the horse had been badly treated in a previous ownership, which she said she was picking up mentally from the horse. When the new owner later checked this out it was all true. When the horse became calm and confident with his new owner the bad behaviour stopped.It was just frightened and told this to the animal communicator. So I belive what you say. Keep up the good work. This is a reply to # 125,253I've run into a bit of a problem. Lucky is in PAIN when I try to give her the urine therapy. She squeals in pain, so I will have to give her a time of rest for a few days and only give her subcutaneous shots.
I had increased the dosage to about 15 ml a day. It feels and looks like the tumors have encapsulated and they are very, very hard.
Anyway, I'll keep updating...

This is a reply to # 125,266Hi Joy, Will she just drink it? How about massaging her lumps with urine, she's bound to lick it off, but some may go in through the skin. You could rub some on her back where she can't reach it to lick it off. If she is long coated, you may have to part the hair first. Good Luck, Deotima.

I was away in Vermont with Lucky on vacation for quite some time.
Unfortunately Lucky will not drink urine, I've tried that. Additionally the injections are causing her a lot of pain at the moment at one of the tumor sites. I am playing around now to see whether this is a sensitivity that is dependent on what time of day it is or whether it is a sensitivity to the salt content. Not sure on either of those quite yet.
I've tried bathing her and rubbing her with urine, however she is longcoated and the smell was quite strong... I did that for about a week but the smell was just overwhelming because it stayed stuck in her fur.
I am still wondering on how to catch her own urine, as I think that would be the best.
I was at the vet yesterday and we did an x-ray of her chest to see what is going on. The tumor in the chest has not grown in the last two months. I had tried swapping the Acemannan Immunostimulant from once a week to once every two weeks. Interestingly enough that was too long. She was somewhat lethargic and tired the last couple of days so I am swapping over to every 10 days and hoping that will work.
The vet is truly amazed at how well Lucky is doing as he had predicted that most likely by now she would no longer be alive. My vet, however, also did not believe in trying out the Acemannan Immunostimulant which I insisted on.
I think the combination of all the different homeopathic things I am using is what is helping her. I do not believe it is JUST the UT, or JUST the Aloe Vera, or JUST one of the other things - they seem to be working in synergy.
I am contemplating on having another ultrasound done in maybe a month's time provided Lucky is still up and running. That will give me a true indication of what is going on inside of her.
In the meantime I have another appointment with an animal communicator who was recommended to me and who does Gestalt/body scans. I hope to receive some further information from her. That appointment is on June 12, 2006.
I will keep updating as time goes by.

This is a reply to # 125,266You could try collecting some of Lucky's urine and add it to yours. I know very little about this urine stuff, except that it is supposed to be your own urine.
Thank you for your message to me about Baka's vacinnations. For sure, it was the vacinations that cause his immune system to crash, and eventuall develop a bleeding disorder that I could get no one to diagnose for me until it was too late.
I will keep watching here to see how Lucky is going. What kind of a dog is she? The larger, the easier it is to get urine.
I know an Aurvedic herbalist that does wonders and will work through the mail if you want to try that.- Edited #25274

This is a reply to # 125,278You might want to consider adding Goji berries to he diet. I buy the dry ones and put them in a coffee grinder and power them. You can then sprinkle them in her food, or add a little water and make a juice and then blend it in. It goes down real easy. Even my 19 year old kitty eats them this way without blinking an eye. They really boost the immune system.
