Anybody? All the books say to take it at night. Well, I sleep fine, wake up as usual with or without the tryptophan taken the night before in a misery with no energy. 2000mg tyrosine seems to help.

I've reasearched, I have all the books you all know about. I don't want to read 1 single more book. I'm having 37 years of anxiety here. I'M DEPRESSED BECAUSE I HAVE ******G ANXIETY. I can't do anything when my daughter comes over. She is 12 now and I can't go hiking with her anymore, or bike riding for fear of panic attacks.

I might as well go back to taking percosets like I did 10 years ago. I felt good on them, till they burnt me out.

Well great, what about the daytime? If I take > 1000mg @ night, I start getting the brain zaps. My diet is immaculate, I can't do dairy (lactose intollerant) I can barely handle the tryptophan as it creates endless gas in my stomach. I've done a bowel cleanse with P+B shakes, I'm 37 and 6'0 and 165. I run 1 mile per day. Had all the blood tests done, the usual stuff they test for. B deficiency, thyroid, vitamins. but no seratonin test.

Sorry for the incoherent sentences. I'm trying to get as much info into this thread as possible.  I'm supposed to take .5mg klonazepam 2x a day. Well when I get anxiety, as soon as I get in any car I take 1/2 of a .5mg and I can hardly handle that as it makes me exhausted. I don't like being exhausted.

So what about L-tryptophan during the day? Anybody? Don't mention 5htp either or St. johns, it's useless stuff. I took 300mg 5htp yesterday in 3 doses and it does NOTHING. St. Johns I've tried before and I'm trying it again, 2 caps a day from wonderlabs.com and that does nothing.

I took 1000mg of L-tryptophan this morning and felt good for a couple hours. After that, around noon, same crap back again.

Any help is appreciated. Sorry for the harsh feeling of this post. I'm just fed up. I've read everything there is and still no help. And yes, I'm taking B complex. I'm a high energy guy. I hate stuff that brings you down, which is why I use to love taking opiates, but learned that every buzz comes with a price. I was on them a year or so and then smartened up.

Stupid frign doctor hands me zoloft, which I took years ago. I took it for 2 days and wanted to saw my own head off with a frign hack saw. I chucked that stuff. I'm on my own I guess. there's absolutely NO HELP in this MEDICAL BIG FRIGN PHARMA state of MASSUCHUSETTS. The most HORRIBLE state to live in.
