I've been experimenting with the therapy for about 8 months now, but i've stopped using the urine for washing my hair. With the fresh urine, the results were really disapointing. The hair are dull and left with a sticky residue, no body etc.... I realized afterwards that ammoniac is a powerfull cleaner and mixed with oil it makes soap which explains why old urine would be a powerfull cleaner for the hair or body. In fact I tried it and the hair becomes shinny and full of body. Never got results like that with expensive products. The smell goes away when it dries, but when you put your hair under water, the smell comes back which can be very embarassing if it starts raining. I stopped washing my hair with fresh or old urine. Does anybody have secrets about the therapy and washing hair. I read in books and articles that there is nothing like it. But I rulled out fresh urine (unless you remove the oil from your hair with shampoo and use the urine to nourish only)... and the old urine is really not the solution because of the smell that is so persistant.
