Does anyone know if Noni juice/pulp is toxic to the liver? There's conflicting info on the web, of course the people selling Noni want us to believe it's a miracle cure, but some of the warnings against it sound valid. One says that Noni contains anthraquinones which are toxic to the liver and can even cause cancer or hepatitis (I thought that was a contageous disease).

I just purchased an expensive bottle and had one 2 centilitre shot of it last night, and today had a massive cleaning out of my bowels, hasn't stopped yet. Felt almost like a liver cleanse, but have to put a hot water on belly and liver for mild aches. I have not done a liver cleanse in awhile, have thought about bowel cleansing and parasite cleansing now that I'm not breastfeeding anymore. My liver feels more congested than ever, the last time I flushed the ES was so horrible, I was sick for 2 days following, resulting in bad nausea, probably loss of electrolytes, and I have a toddler so being sick like this is no good. I would appreciate any advice on whether I should discontinue this juice or not. I cannot take a chance that it can actually harm my already sensitive liver. thank you!
