I have a friend who bought the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement and will be starting on it after an out of state visit... and I have been constantly pushed by more than one person to aggravation to buy it.
From what I read here on this site and elsewhere..people's varying experiences....that symptoms such as 'liver aches', bowel problems, stool colors, etc. are alarming to me.
No one , so far, from my research, has come up with their labs before, during and after, except some with hepc who's viral load have not changed or changed as it will normally anyway. Sure didn't clear the hepc..which is something I have...nor are there labs of any improvements in any areas.
So does anyone know if it does harm or not?
So far, I have found it's something to not be taken internally.
If anyone has proof that it actually works and is safe for the numerous ailments that it is supposed to cure...please do post that info.
And i mean Facts...not testimonials. I'm concerned about my friend.

this is going to be quite interesting to see the responses to your post from Miracle-Mineral-Supplement supporters,
based on Humbles disclosure Miracle-Mineral-Supplement does not cure a thing.
There is no approval anywhere in the world for chlorine dioxide to be taken internally, because it is poisonous to humans.

Actually, there is some short term indications that the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement protocol will not immediately kill you. There are a lot of people taking it, and we have not heard of any deaths.
A lot of people get sick, but some have been using Miracle-Mineral-Supplement for months. While it is possible that there may be some long term effects, in the short term it doesn't seem to kill you...

This is a reply to # 1,205,881I suggest that if you want hard facts as to the ingestion of Miracle-Mineral-Supplement
and you wont use it based on testimonials , toxic reports(on ClO2 and chlorite) and other related information then you shouldn't use it. I dont know when or if any medical trials on the use of mms will ever be done but if you read through this forum you should get an idea of the arguments for and against it- I take my hat of to you jon biosafe

I also think it's very difficult to take enough to cause serious effects
apart from making you vomit and have bad diarrhea if you take too high a dose

This is a reply to # 1,205,881There are apparantly a lot of people taking it. I have not heard of any deaths from overdose and it is not carcinogenic. You won't find "proof" of anything here. Far as I know there is not anyone on this debate forum that has the specific knowledge required to judge whether or not Miracle-Mineral-Supplement is safe for humans at the dosages indicated on the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement websites. I could tell you what they are qualified to do but that would be like letting a fox in a henhouse...just start a lot of squawking. So if your friend is determined to try it...and stays at or under the 15 drops 3 times per day the worst that will happen is he/she will get a case of diahrrea or possibly vomit. For the record I do know someone who has been at that level for many months with no ill effects.

This is a reply to # 1,206,050I think that the poster asked for proof, not anecdotal, and not from a third party. And Tom, what about the potential for problems with the bone marrow in long term use. That seems pretty serious to me. Also, the potential for damaging red blood cells. If the potential is there, if it has been seen in small studies, then it isn't safe to take it until it is known. For all of those that are claiming that it is safe now, what will they find in one year, five years? Humble doesn't know, and I find it hard to trust the judgement of someone who makes wild claims, and then changes them as he sees what it is doing to people. A responsible person would find the answers before making the claims. Until the mechanism of how it works in the body is known, it isn't safe.

This is a reply to # 1,206,059Actually chlorite can apparantly be used to regenerate bone marrow in the form of TCDO
Sodium chlorite seems to suppress its function but we are not ingesting a lot of chlorite with Miracle-Mineral-Supplement are we. ClO2 may breakdown to some chlorite but this amount would be tiny if any at all as ClO2 would be used up before it could breakdown to chlorite

Other long term effects? Well tell me what you're concerned about and I'll see if I can find answers. I dont think there are any that are serious or lasting
I think we know about the blood cells. They have protection up to a certain extent
and are rapidly replaced also oxidation of haemoglobin can be reversed.

There is no "proof" that it actually works, and there is no "proof" that it is safe for numerous ailments. They want "facts" no testimonials. So if you have real proof please post it.
And once again, if you would like to go back and reread Bruce's posts you will find the proof that it is dangerous. He's posted it numerous times, and people just don't read it. I guess sometimes it's just easier to start in with the name calling. Saves you from coming up with an intelligent answer.

Like I said there is nobody I am aware of who posts on this board who is qualified to say whether "MMS" is safe at the levels being ingested by various people, and that includes Bruce. So as I stated before "you will find "proof" of nothing here. Nobody I am aware of has even done a simple LD50 study on a few rats to determine lethal dosage levels (An LD50 is a study done to determine the amount of material by body weight of the animal to be tested which will result in the death of 50% of the test animals in a predetermined period of time). Since nobody (we know of) has died or become deathly ill at the levels being ingested it can be assumed the lethal dosage level in humans has not be reached. It would be really good to have some long term studies done on animals (sorry PETA but I value human life over rats, dogs, mice, and monkeys) to determine overall effects on body systems at various dosage levels along with ongoing blood chemistry, histology, and other tests to determine if there are significant statistical differences between the dosed groups and a control group... unfortunately those kind of things do not generally get done on "Alternative Therapies"... this is a "word of mouth" "you pays yer money and you takes yer chances" kind of deal...so anyone looking for "PROOF" regarding alternative therapies whether its "coffee enemas", "MMS", flaxseed oil, or any of the myriad of other alternative therapies one can find by digging around on the internet has forgotton that the ONLY "proof" is in the form of testimonials from those who have been either brave, stupid, or desperate enough to try them and tell others about the experience. My suggestion to anyone who is looking for "proof" regarding a health issue is to forget the great bulk of alternative therapies, grab your wallet, put your lawyer on standby, move your home and all your possessions into a blind offshore trust and go visit the family doctor.

So lets see...if I wanted to commit suicide with Chlorine Dioxide lets do the numbers:
I weigh 85KG X 292mg/kg = 24820mg/1000mg/kg = 24.82 KILOS of Chlorine Dioxide (assuming human toxicity approximates that of a rat) I would have to ingest 29% of my body weight of the stuff in order to croak off!!(I forgot..that was LD50 data..only 50% chance of croaking--would have to ingest a lot more to be sure) Common Aspirin is obviously much more TOXIC than Cl02... probably could check out with just one large bottle.
So given this wealth of scientific data...just how much is in 15 drops of 26% Chlorine Dioxide? I doubt it will...but that kind of data should stop "Bionut" from running around like chicken little..screaming "ITS TOXIC! ITS TOXIC! ITS TOXIC!"

Lets take the RAT for example.
the dosage at which 50% of the rats die within a designated period of time becomes the LD50 rating for a specified substance being tested, and is designated in mg per kg of body weight of the animal species being tested.
Very accurate records are kept of the weight of each animal..rats are generally weighed daily on long term studies..(so I assume you step on the scale each morning) and also detailed records are kept on food in and food out.

You keep talking about a toxic level of whatever (are we talking about ClO2, NaClO2, Miracle-Mineral-Supplement ???). If you're feeling suicidal, please make sure you call the suicide prevention hotline quickly. I'm afraid I don't know the number in GB so look it up.
After that, could you please post appropriate research for the toxic levels of ClO2 and NaClO2 and Miracle-Mineral-Supplement ? Thank you. These would be studies that are not based on LD50 studies of any other species as well as studies when unexpected death takes place. Those are not transferable to human toxicity levels.
You might want to look up "human toxicity" for each of these compounds at the NIH or PubMed. That would certainly clarify this whole thing. Please make sure you post the urls so we can all look at them.
I've already read what's been posted about this and so far, no actual information that is relevant to humans.
