yes, it sounds to me like you have mold.
well i can tell you this. i lived in an apartment that had a mold infestation. i tried everything under the sun to fix the problem for six months. that was six months of HELL! pure hell. i felt like absolute shit for months on end. finally i gave up and moved out. within one week 80% of all the symptoms were gone. i was about 95% better in a month. but now i am EXTREMELY sensitive to mold and have to make one hundred percent certain that there is no mold in my apartment. even on small speck of mold on a piece of fruit in my fridge will send me into mold toxicity.
my advice is very simple and direct to you - dont mess around with this. mold is very, very, VERY toxic. it can have serious health consequences. if i were you i would move out. just get out of there asap.
if the mold is in your apartment that means its in the whole building. mold spores travel through entire buildings, they dont just confine themselves to one small space. getting rid of all the mold in the entire complex will be nearly impossible. you can sit around sick waiting for them to get rid of the mold for the next two years and they still wont have gotten it.
speaking as one who has been in your position i can only say that if your mold detection kit turns up positive for mold then please get out of there.
btw, mold also has psychological effects.
Depression is the major one, with feeling of lethargy and hopelessness, along with a general feeling of malaise and apathy.
