Hello gotaproblem,
I’m so glad you wrote here today! You are not alone with this now. You’ve got people who understand you and see you as something more than just your odor. You can talk here all you want, and I will listen. I may not have all the answers, but I will listen to you.
I’m sorry to hear that you have attempted suicide. I know what that is all about because I have also. I just happened to wake up the following morning, so it must not have been my time yet. I never did discuss it with anyone afterwards until much later when I began to go to mental health counseling. Thanks to that, here we are today, and I’m speaking with you! Had my attempt worked, I wouldn’t be here speaking with you or anyone else for that matter. We don’t realize at the time that there is a whole dimension within us yet for us to discover and for us to take advantage of and to use to reach others. You are much more than just your odor! And there’s a lot more to this life than cruel people who don’t see you behind your odor. Until you realize that, your real self is hidden deep inside, and you won’t even find it and see yourself.
Have you gone to mental health therapy yet? It’s a slow process, but a great support system that helps you find who you really are, and helps you break down the barrier you may chose to break down.
I wish I had answers for a cure, but instead all I have is what I’ve posted in this forum and in my blog at http://mpdela.blogspot.com/ . I invite you to read some of it to see if you find any info that might help you with your odor. To see my old posts in this forum, just click on my username in this post.
Please stay in touch, and let me know how you’re doing. I’ll answer your posts as soon as I can. Take care of yourself.
Maria

Hi gotaproblem,
I'm glad you're feeling better. Even though there is not cure found yet for metabolic body odor, there is an opportunity to gain some control over its intensity by researching and understanding the management protocols suggested by the experts. So, I'm glad to see that you have been reading and researching yourself! :))
About the differences between Leaky gut syndrome and Irritable bowel syndrome, I am no expert by no means on either of these two topics, but perhaps some of these articles can shed some light on your question.
