I disagree ! The article doesnt say whether the daughter was injured or not! Plus she is not suing her parents she is sueing the insurance company that home owners pay huge sums to over a life time! These facts are alway overlooked, when it comes to these snippets!
I think little articles like these that make big headlines are done so purposely to discredit tort laws and the protection they offer the little man!
You constantly hear about these types of cases by establishment rags, owned basically by the corporate world who want to get rid of laws that makes them responsible for thier neglect!
Look what the feds are doing for the makers of the deadly vaccines!
This type of finger pointing and blame the greedy little man is just part of the bigger picture!
What if the women had broken her back or neck or even a minor injury cost dearly with loss of pay and over priced med care! Should she pay out of her own pocket or should the parents mortgage thier home to help thier daughter!
This is what insurance is for and if the parents reject thier daughters need for compensation they are either morons or this whole article is just a plant!
