2-3 per day... I have been successful in the past only when I'm eating enough bulk -- lots of fruits and veges, grains and a little protein. Lately though, especially since my liver cleanse, I have not been so successful because I'm just not eating as much. So for me, I really believe it's a matter of bulk. Enemas are good too but cumbersome when you're traveling.
