Does Miracle-Mineral-Supplement turn your body chemistry back to alkaline?
And if your body is more acidic, that's when diseases come and
parasites live in you. All sorts of maladies come when your
body is more acidic. But microbes and pathogens and disease can't live
in alkaline surroundings, so that's why Miracle-Mineral-Supplement works.

I don't think you are on the right track.
While sodium chlorite is alkaline, when you activate it it becomes an acid solution.
ClO2 works through oxidation.

This is a reply to # 1,168,084Acidified sodium chlorite is acidic on the ph scale, but alkalizing in the body. This is why it is beneficial to the body. Certain foods are like this also, including lemons, limes and white grapefruits - all acidic on the ph scale but alkalizing in the body.
Acidity in the body is not only caused directly by the ph of what we eat or drink, but also by its effect on the body, particularly whether it encourages or discourages pathogens. Pathogens, along with their debris and wastes, are a very large factor in creating acids in the body ... consequently whatever decreases the pathogen load increases the body's alkalinity.
The irony is that Miracle-Mineral-Supplement will actually tend to increase acidity in the very short term, and this is the reason that there are so many short-term die off symptoms, and even flues and colds that result. Miracle-Mineral-Supplement is a very potent killer of pathogens, but as they die the pollution in the system is increased dramatically, and this creates a far more acidic system in the short term.
That's why drinking a LOT of water, and doing other simple detox protocols (such as ES and H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) baths) can be so important as adjuncts to Miracle-Mineral-Supplement .
So, the net result of MMS in the body is, in my opinion, definitely alkalizing, and this is the foundation for any improvements that people see.- Re: MMS and Alkalinity SilverFox

In general, I think I agree with you on most points, but here is a little different view on how Miracle-Mineral-Supplement may work in the body.
In industry, ClO2 is used for water purification and to keep food fresh after it has been harvested. It has also been used to sanitize various surfaces and as a disinfectant in wound care. There are also studies showing it is effective in improving oral health.
If you study these applications, one reoccurring theme is the ability of ClO2 to destroy biofilm.
In addition to killing pathogens on contact, ClO2 seems to be able to penetrate the biofilm layers, break it up, and leave it in a state where it is easier to remove from surfaces.
The medical profession has observed the build up of biofilm on pacemakers, heart valves, and other implants, as well as on teeth and in the inner ear. They have also found that bacteria, protected by the structure of the biofilm, continue to live and multiply even in the presence of Antibiotics .
It may be possible that the Miracle-Mineral-Supplement protocol is designed around providing enough ClO2 over a long enough time to allow it to penetrate the biofilm layers that have formed inside our bodies. As the biofilm layer is broken down, pathogens are released, and may be released in quantities exceeding the capabilities of the ClO2 available at the time.
How's that for an "outside the box" perspective...?

This is a reply to # 1,168,571to add a bit on that thought.... if the biofilm is removed, one may not have to rely on mms to do the killing, even a weakened immune system might be able to kill some pathogens.

This is a reply to # 1,168,571That sounds entirely plausible, Tom. If by "biofilm" you mean layers of mucuous, mucoid plaque, or other types of layered biological debris that builds up various places in the body, then I definitely agree. This is one of the ways in which ClO2 works.
My own experience with ClO2 is that is broke up things like hardened plaque from the walls of the digestive tract, and deposits in the liver and gallbladder, as well as dislodging mucuous layers. I'm sure that there are pathogens within these various layers, especially within the mucoid plaque of the intestines and the deposits in the liver, which are then freed up and destroyed.
In addition to all of this, Miracle-Mineral-Supplement is also of course a tremendous anti-pathogen, working against the pathogens which are not constrained in mucoid or other layers, but are freely at work in the bloodstream, lymph system or within the cells and tissues of the body ... the net result of ALL of these modes of action is a reduction in pathogen load within the body, and a concommitant increase in alkalinity within the body once the debris is flushed out.
MMS results in increased alkalinity in the body, as does Stabilized Oxygen ... thats why it can bring a tremendous increase in overall health when combined with super-hydration and super-nutrition.

I think you should drink enough water so your urine is light in colour
but if you drink too much it may overwork your kidneys and may reduce
their filtering efficiency I dont see how drinking anymore water is going to help them.How does it get any more waste out. Surely it just dilutes it and swells the kidneys- Re: MMS and Alkalinity ldsfireguy

This is a reply to # 1,168,597Drinking a lot of pure, Alkalized Water is one of the keys to returning to health. As long as the kidneys are working ok, they will not swell ... and after a while, your cells will start to absorb more water.

This is a reply to # 1,168,914I AGREE! I filter, ozonate, and restructure my water, and I am long time vegan. I never got sick in over 25 yrs but I got the Morgellons somehow lately. That is why I am here, looking to get advice on how to make my own Miracle-Mineral-Supplement .
