All my life I've suffered from extreme candidiasis, I just didn't know that's what it was until recently when I went to a naturopathic doctor and was diagnosed. She put me on a specific diet, that oddly enough included bread.
And gave me some supplements and such for about a month, telling me to excersize and take
Epsom Salt baths, etc etc. Then after the month was up she gave me a detox and told me it should only take about 2 weeks and I'll be all better
Now right then and there I couldn't believe it because I had read and researched a lot about candidias and read that it takes people months before they even start feeling better. Well 2 weeks went by and I had only just begun to feel the effects of the "die-off". She then gave me some antifungals and told me another 2 weeks after that, then another 1 week..then finish the bottle..And the most recent thing she told me was to "take a break from my diet/detox and get some blood work done"
Now first of all I know for a fact that if you take a break from candidias it simpley grows back in full, and also that blood work takes about 2 1/2 weeks at least for results once I get the lab slip..Which took her 2 weeks to send..
So I decided to take matters into my own hands and I've been eating nothing but meat, veggies, cultured yogurt, and grapefruit ever since. I'm taking coconut oil as an antifungal as well as probiotics and charcoal. All it seems like though is that my health seems to come and go, one day I'll feel GREAT then the next day I'll be worse off then I was before I started this... I've been frantically searching the web to see what I can and can't eat and EVERYTHING seems to contradict. All while I work in a VERY high stress place trying to keep my stress levels down and getting to bed early. I still excersize as well.
Also on top of that before I started this whole thing I was making a healthy 2 BMs a day and I'm now lucky if I do once in about 3 days, which can't POSSIBLEY be healthy for me.
My most important question for any who will at this point is, is it OK to do a
Colon Cleanse while doing a candida cleanse??? I'd be using bowtrol since it worked very well for me in the past, I'm just not sure about the ingredients, but I can list them:
Cascara sagrada, turkey rhubarb, bentonile clay, slippery elm, aloes, flax seeds, senna, wormseed, black seeds, peppermint, olive leaf extract, thyme oil powder, garlic extract 12:1
So would anyone happen to know if something like that would hurt me more than do good? Or if it doesn't make a difference, or beneficial? I know for a fact that I need to remove all the candida/toxins that are taken from my body rather than letting them rot in my colon regardless. But I'm just not sure if any of those ingredients will actually FEED the candida.
Also ANY OTHER info or advice would be most welcome, I thank any that reply in advance after my mass ranting!
EDIT: Also an enema is out of the question - I simply work to often..And I've tried psyllium it just does not work for me, at all.
