I disagree with Dr. Ritter that
colonics aren't necessary, but then in the interests of full disclosure I have to say that colon hydrotherapy is what I do as my profession. I honestly believe that there are few people today who wouldn't benefit from a series of colonics.
But I also realize that for many people the costs of professionally administered
colonics are beyond their means, and even if they could afford them, in many areas there are no qualified therapists offering them.
As a start, you may want to consider cleansing enemas at home using an enema bag. This is a time tested safe and natural means of cleansing your colon.
colonics operate on the same principle as do enemas, except that during a
colonic session you receive the equivalent cleansing of several enemas within the time span of about 45 minutes.
