I agree with your point that we don't do well trying to micro-manage our systems.
They are just too complex...new 'symptoms' and 'cures' and 'helps' keep showing up, and we seem to 'know' things we didn't recognize before.
I've noticed that bears, for example, eat according to the season for the different things they like...that, like man, their systems 'adjust' to what is available today...berries, fish, peoples' garbage, etc.
Spouses also may thrive on totally different diets than their mates...especially at our house.
Some 'cures' may work once, but not again...or not at all, until one special occasion.
I do think we must use intuition, a lot.
And I think that medical doctors function on intuition far more than they would have us believe.
One doctor said that a wound on my leg was 'infected' and not healing fast enough, whereas another doctor said that it was a six to eight-week injury, and NOT particularly infected. "Be patient," was his advice. (I was using my own guesses as 'treatment', and he didn't ask...so I kept on.)
The body's ability to 'adjust' is a marvelous thing. And I've found that simply small changes can make big differences sometimes.
I really like those 'messages from the interior', and trying just a little, at first.
Thanks for your insight.
My best,
