Hi,
I was doing research on CFS because I have a friend who was diagnosed with it. I saw some information about treatments which said they may have deitary restrictions and I was puzzled about what kind of restrictions these may be. Please respond thank you.

Well I couldn't get off the couch all last summer and the chronic fatigue 'holistic specialist' didn't like all the bad bacteria in my poop test so he wanted me to take antibiotics. My energy came back! But my endless diarrhea came back too and then he wanted me to take more antibiotics for a LONGER time over and over and that was it for me. By the way, during my most tired, I was trying to eat MEAT and my digestion was getting worse and worse each day. I can't eat protein any more but then not able to ingest fats was the big kicker! Liver!! I've had chronic fatigue off and on for 20 years with bad vertigo and chemical sensitivity so I had a lot of warning before my eating capacity fell off a cliff. Tell your friend to seek health before it's too late because the sick only get sicker. Nice of you to help your friend. When one is too tired to help oneself that is a desperate thing to realize. -- WSW

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,129,577It would be helpful to let others know what it is your actually talking about especially when your only using the initials of something that is labeled by a medical doctor.
Anything ending in syndrome is something from the medical profession which makes it considered a disease.
Acid Reflux Syndrome - now the official name for heart burn.
If its labeled a disease you can prescribe a drug for it.
Because according to the medical profession only a drug can cure a disease.
Since obviously everyone is familiar with what CFS is then everyone would be familiar with UGTD.
Thats "Unwilling to Go to Therapy Disorder" - an actual disorder listed in a psychiatric manual.
And yes, a disorder is another label to which a drug can be prescribed.

The ones that get me are the ADD and ADHD.
Purely made up stuff for the purpose of putting kids on drugs.
ADD -- attention deficit
deficit means lack of
So you have - lack of attention
In other words - the kids mind wanders
A kids mind should wander a little.
Means he/she is probably imagining, using the imagination.
The "H" stands for hyper or hyperactive.
Let a kid drink Pepsi or Coke and you've got a hyperactive kid.
But yea lets see how we can mess up the next generation by putting these little guys on our mind altering prescriptions and at the same time, have the public buy it.

That is not always the case. A friend's son was hyperactive, she did not allow him colas. He was still hyperactive.
He was not able to drink red pop without it affecting him. The red dye in the pop, set him off.
There are some kids who are hyperactive. I have no doubt the diet is the problem yet not all parents give their kids, Pepsi, Mountain Dew (another claim to hyperactive) or Coke. The kids are still hyper without these drinks.
Just my 2 cents.

theres quite a few kids who should just be allowed ROOM. room as in, space for themselves to develop themselves to the best of their ability. too much labeling. labeling of society is a curse. if you dont fit in your screwed- Re: CFS Diet B2reflect

This is a reply to # 1,129,710How many kids do you have, Boem? Also, if you have any, do you have all the time for your children that you claim these parents should have?
Unless you live their life, how do you know what they have or have not attempted to do, before giving into giving these kids meds?
This friend tried many things. He just did not do well, without meds.
My son also was diagnosed. I gave him the meds reluctantly, after 3 years of not. It helped him. Unfortunately, me being a working single parent, I did not have the time I wish I did. In hind sight, knowing the things I do now, there could have been much change. Yet, I cannot go backwards in time. My son will be 20 this year and because he wanted to join the military, he got off the meds when he had turned 16, summer of. He did not get less hyper and at that point, his diet was not going to change without drastic measures.
I will not have another child...that factory is closed...yet you have not walked my shoes. You, nor anyone else can say what was right or wrong for myself and my son...or for anyone else, for that matter.
I did the best I could, with the knowledge on hand in that time. So, do many others.

This is a reply to # 1,129,719The kids don't have a chance. Yeah, I've seen it where Mom just doesn't want to put up with little Johnny, it's easier to just give him a pill. But most parents are very frustrated with the childrens behavior. They honestly don't know what to do.
Vaccinations....They've mass vaccinated society since the 50's. Do you think that has anything to do with these kids behavior? Of course it does. His mom and dad were vaccinated and his grandparents were too. Plus all the prescription drugs his parents took and the grandparents. They didn't know any better. So you've got a few generations of chemical overload coming into play now.
My kids were never vaccinated. Believe it or not that became a problem when it came to getting along with their classmates in school. They were the only "normal" ones. Plus their classmates were always taking one drug or another and the parents were too.
Behavioral modification? You bet... By design.
Plus the single parent thing. Not easy for kids to handle. They feel betrayed and abandonded. Doesn't matter if the parents had legitimate reasons to divorce. They still feel betrayed and abandonded. They know for a fact that one of their parents doesn't like them. And they'll stay loyal to the abusive parent always trying to prove they are worthy of being loved by them.
Plus the school system doesn't allow these kids to be kids. My wife's 13 year old started being pressured to go to college when she was 8 years old. I've gone round and round with the local school system here about the sheer brainwash these kids are being exposed to. Doesn't do any good. I'm just one voice in the wilderness as far as they're concerned. I did get them to stop the Flouride rinse program though.
But what I'm starting to see is a reverse affect. The kids are completely disreguarding authority. They just blow it off. They just roll their eyes and go along with schools petty rules.
Oh, hyperactive kids respond great to chiropractic, calms then right down

This is a reply to # 1,129,577Chronic fatigue IS adrenal burnout. Which would be antiparasite program, liver decongestion and good nutrition. And plenty of rest.
The parasites stimulate the adrenals to secrete adrenaline. I went down that road. Well, the adrenals can only do that for so long and then they shut down. You get the chronic fatigue because the adrenals normally supply the body with a nice steady supply of fuel. So chronic fatigue equals adrenal fatigue.
Kill the bugs, good nutrition and plenty of rest and the adrenals will come back.

I'm not doubting what you're saying, its just that all the sites i've been on say that CFS is such a mistery with no known cause. I'm looking for the most accurate information so PLEASE HELP

Lindsay: Sorry we adults are such %¤#&!§-s. One way to get started is to read Doc's "R" posts which outline some of what he tells people to do (seach "basics'). Or your friend could get his CD program (www.docsutter.com). It takes tons of time to try to cull through answers on the curezone. Many of us here about about having WORMS and bad stuff and how if you don't get it out, then nothing else you do matters. You can go almost forever without any doctor or naturopath mentioning parasites. By the way, despite the popularity of myspace, etc., if you ever do future health postings about yourself, you will not want to use your real name because you won't want that stuff coming up on google when you are 22 and applying for jobs! You are a good friend. Hope your friend can be well. - WSW
