I feel great, I have more energy now than when I am eating. I am down 10 /(115 from 125/5'2"), I am glowing, my mind is very clear and focused.
I am going to 15 days and seeing how I feel. I may just go to 20 or 21. I have noticed signs that my body indeed is working on old injuries.
This is the 3rd time for me doing the cleanse. I eat a really healthy, but I wanted to get over to addiction to Splenda and a sleeping aid at night. I know now.... I no longer need these two things.
I crave fruit and veggies , but know they will be there for me when I am done taking care of my body.

How wonderful for you that you have made it to day 13! It really is exhilarating the longer you go! I can't wait for the weather to get warmer so I can do a longer cleanse!!!

This is a reply to # 1,128,406Hang tough B. At around the 14/15 days mark the system has pretty much expelled the causative agents and then it's when the real deep cleansing/healing will start start happening at the cellular level with tissue proliferation etc.
My 1st MC which was a 40 dayer I had so much energy after the 2nd week that I had to add a daily 6 mile bike ride to keep from climbing the walls. At around the 3rd week is when I really noticed the "quieting and clarity of the mind" which for me was by far the greatest benefit and besides the physical aspect what keeps me coming back to the longer MCs.
On the physical side I had been having chronic shoulder and wrist pains that completely cleared after that 1st MC. Of course you hafta keep in mind that I also became a "man on a mission" and followed up with all the other cleanses and a pristine diet for close to 4 years.
The last 2 years have been really stressful and I have been backsliding but not horribly minds you. I have done a couple of 40 dayers in that period but just not following it up as focused and gradually degrading the quality of my intake and slacking on the exercise. I am an avid whitewater canoeist and we have been having record droughts in the SE for the last 2 years. Getting out there on the water was certainly a major motivator to keep focused on health and exercise. Not having that reminder sure has not helped to keep me on track. That's my excuse anyways...........;+D
I am beginning to get some twinges of my wrist issues which is a clear sign for me to get back on that horse again. Just waiting for it to get a little warmer and break into another 40 dayer to start the year with a bang. In the mean time I have started veggie juicing every day without fail and cutting back on the less healthier flour products and increasing my daily intake of raw foods. I tell ya, what a difference just doing these things makes. Not just on my energy levels but just all around mental attitude and feeling of wellbeing.

This is a reply to # 1,128,488I do feel great, the most I can do is 21 days, as I am leaving for Las Vegas on the 17th.
I can have oj the day I fly (I can drink it before I go and orange slices on the plane- I have done that before) , but just going and doing too many things there to continue it.
I could never do just the 10 days, now that I know how great you start to feel after the 8th day.
You ever come my way Pepe? If so e-mail me if you need advise/want to go hiking. I want to get one of those stand up paddling boards so my daughter and I can get out on the water. It is great exercise for upper and lower body.

This is a reply to # 1,128,538B I would LOOOOVE to go to HI. I am an artist and some months back someone from Honolulu expressed an interest in selling my work in HI and maybe even opening a gallery. That was some months ago and maybe they were just blowing smoke up my butt but man that would be an ultimate buzz for me even just to make periodic trips to HI.
In the mean time I'll just keep putting out them positive vibes and maybe I'll make it to HI after all.
You might check out some of the sit-on-top kayaks. The are relatively easy to paddle and are a ton of fun in the waves too.

I am so happy for you!!! I wish I was there with you on day 15 now, but the cold I got just wiped me out and i just had to stop cleansing. It was hard cause I was mentally ready for it, but physcially couldn't hadle it.
I have never done more than 11 days and would like to go for 21.
